What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In East Tytherley To Rent.

"Splendid location, but it didn't work that well for us. The website told us that tall people may have a bit of trouble with the stairs. Well, we were forewarned then, I am 6.4 (1.92 meter). But it was not only the stairs. The only place were I could stand comfortably was in the living. The Village is beautiful, the cottage looks very pretty from the outside, but we were also a bit disappointed with the furniture and the cooking utensils. All done on the cheap. Nevertheless we were very cordially welcomed by a nice lady and the location is very suitable for taking day trips in different directions, which we did. The bed was far too small for me to sleep comfortable. All in all, that is why we decided not to stay here again."

"Lovely cottage in a good location. We loved sitting by the brook watching the ducks (and the bats) and listening to the fish jumping. The village itself is chocolate box pretty and the local Post Office sells local produce. The Poplar Inn is in easy reach and sells superb food and good beer. In nearby Andover we enjoyed meals at the Pink Olive which serves delicious Indian food and at the Tycoon which offers really good Chinese food.Stonehenge is well worth a visit, as are Salisbury and Winchester. A bit further afield are The Victory and The Mary Rose. For a bit of pre-history we recommend Danbury Hill Fort. All in all a super holiday blessed with perfect weather."

"The surrounding area was beautiful and our hosts were more than welcoming by sharing their butter and oil with us!You are able to see the horses across the road from the kitchen and bedroom window and even though it was cold outside the Loft was a warm and inviting place to be.There were a selection of movies and books to read as well as a welcome guide from the hosts about the best places to go for food and to shop. There was coffee sugar and basic utensils for cooking which included a steel frying pan.Would recommend the stay to everyone"

"For our purposes, cottage was functional but no more than that. Presentation from the front (first impressions) were very poor - overflowing bins, overgrown plants etc. Inside, while some aspects were acceptable, there were two main problems: nearly all the light bulbs in the living areas had failed, so we lived in gloom for 4 days and there were no spares; secondly, the cutlery and crockery were very dirty and we spent some time scrubbing and pouring on boiling water before we felt comfortable enough to eat with the utensils."

"Stayed here for a week but wish it could have been longer. Beautiful setting and easy access to all the New Forest Delights.Astrid and Mark made us feel very welcome and on arrival had left us milk, flowers and wine a lovely touch.Would certainly recommend this place to family and friends (in fact have already done so) If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday this is the place to be.Paul and Chris (Yorkshire)"
