"Whyte Cottage is a spacious, clean and comfortable holiday cottage situated in a residential area of Hastings. We had a short break in March and were lucky to have fine weather. The conservatory was a lovely place to go, after a day out, with a cuppa and a cake. Our dog Molly loved to lay in there checking the garden for 'intruders'.Local shops are a short drive or bus ride away, including a Morrisons supermarket. The cottage has everything needed for a short or long stay and the welcome pack is a nice touch, giving the chance for a cup of tea and a biscuit before unpacking! We would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay there again. At every cottage we stay at (and there's been a lot over the years) we ask ourselves if we'd like to live there permanently. Whyte Cottage is one of the few where we have said, yes we would."

"We want to thank you for organising our trip to Dairy Cottage, it was all very last minute! We also want to thank Jane for being a wonderful host. We wanted to upload a review, but as we can't do that directly we've forwarded it on to you. We had a wonderful short break at Dairy Cottage over the May Bank Holiday. • Jane is a great host, we got a very warm welcome. The cottage has been put together with a lot of thought and is well kitted out. • The location is wonderful. At the top of a valley, the views are beautiful with no one overlooking the property. • Ticehurst and Wadhurst are both beautiful villages, with great pubs, delis etc. There's also Bewl water, as well as Bodiam castle, Battle, Hastings - so masses to do within 30 mins drive. The cottage is a real find. Highly recommended. "

"Absolutely loved staying at Lea Farm what a wonderful setting! The views from the garden of Bullock Lodge are stunning. The cottage is beautiful and well equipped and the bathroom shower an absolute treat! Our hosts Penny and Ben were superb, so friendly and accommodating. They let us bottle feed some lambs who were only a day old (I completely fell in love) and we also saw some lambs being born. The lambs in the fields behind the cottage were a treat to watch especially at dusk when they jumped and skipped, so sweet. Absolutely recommend staying here there are really nice pubs to eat in which are a short drive away and a lovely farm shop only a few minutes drive away. All in all a lovely stay, only downside we only stayed the weekend which wasn't long enough! Will definitely be going back x"

"We liked Tiger very much although only there for two nights. It is a fairly modern building and is very well presented and very clean. The only negatives are No wifi and virtually no phone signal which I appreciate is not the fault of the owners. The other small criticism was that my son thought that the single beds were not the most comfortable. But generally its a very nice place and the caretaker next door was very helpfull. Plenty of room for parking and although not far from the road, we found it to be nice and quiet. There is also a nice grassy area at the back for children to play on.We would definately go again !"

"3 nights spent here. Friendly welcome from owners, Andrew and Penny, spacious grounds to walk dog next to small holding. Cottage is just right size, but bedroom does have steep stairs and the roof gable does limit movement when upstairs. Would be hot in high summer but fine for our visit. Sedlescombe around corner has nice pub, Queens Head, good food and beer and welcomes dogs inside. The location is good for local attractions like Rye, Bexhill/Hastings and Beachy Head about 30 minutes drive. Weather was good also which helped!"
