What our customers are saying about our Group Accommodation Cottages In East Fortune To Rent.
- Mrs Riddell, April 2018 - verified booking
"As well as being beautifully decorated and furnished, the owner had gone to great lengths to stock the house with many extras:cleaning materials and even basic medical stocks and stuff for the dogs. Beds were super comfy and the house as cosy as you wanted it to be with a very modern “nest “heating system. The location is great, right at the harbour, where there is always something going on and a short walk to the East beach which is great for looking in rock pools! There are lovely independent shops on the high street and plenty cafes to choose from. There was plenty for us to do in the locality : walks to Belhaven beach and the East Beach. There is a great modern pool and leisure centre close to the harbour so it’s worth packing your swimming things. Overall, we enjoyed this house and Dunbar very much."

"This is a cottage that would be wonderful for disabled people of all abilities. The bedrooms all have garden views. The bathrooms were spotless and well thought out. There was enough space to move, which is important when you're disabled or don't like to bump your elbows on the walls! The whole cottage's layout was really good. If you didn't want to be disturbed by the TV you could sleep in the bedroom at the opposite end of the bungalow. The walls are very thick so sound didn't travel far. There was a substantial welcome pack, which always puts a smile on my face - I don't have to go searching for the tea bags immediately on arrival! The area was very quiet. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The information in the cottage about places to see and eat was very informative. We'll definitely return."

"Stayed here for the weekend with our dog. We were met by Trevor who owns the house, he was very friendly, showed us around and the wished us a lovely stay...and a lovely stay it certainly was! The house is absolutely beautiful, having just had a full refurb, it is stylish yet comfortable and welcoming; the attention to detail is phenomenal. Dunbar is a lovely little town, with lovely walks along the cliff tops on a coastal path, plenty to do nearby too. The house is situated about 5 minute walk from the town centre where there are plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants etc. It is also next door to a huge leisure centre with wave machine and slides etc. We cannot wait to return again...hopefully for longer next time!"

"Lots of unexpected attention to detail in the cottage. Marie-Clare the owner met us on our arrival & was very helpful in suggesting visits the grandchildren might like. Our daughter made very good use of the leisure centre in the evenings. The kitchen is really well equipped for a self catering holiday. The beds are very comfy. We looked forward to spotting the seals in the harbour every tea time. The view of the harbour is wonderful. The location of the cottage is ideal for visits to the John Muir Country Park, the East Links children's adventure park, Paxton House and Newhailles Scottish Trust property near Musselburgh. The choldren really enjoyed the two children's parks in Dunbar itself."

"A dated site, facilities have seen better days, the whole place needs to be refurbished/modernised. Generally grubby and run down. On arrival our lodge smelled of smoke, there was a bag of dog poo outside our gate, the carpets and sofas were badly stained, the windows were filthy as was the decking, we complained and eneded up being moved to another (newer) lodge which was in much better condition....however they should not be marketed as lodges, they're large caravans..... over priced considering their condition and the site. The staff were all lovely, no complaints there. Would not recommend this site but the area has a lot to offer and would go back to the area again."
