"Extremely disappointed!!!The granary was dirty&the location was terrible with nothing to do..we arrived at what looked like a dump site&we were told by gale that she would get her husband out of bed.Robert came to meet us&let us into a smelly dirty room.my partner&I were going to stay for a week for valentines &went home after 1 night&the only reason we stayed that night was because it was too late to drive back!We paid for a week&stayed for one night!!On leaving to hand the keys in we weren't asked why we were leaving etc&that was after getting past the hoards of stuff at the owners entrance.I actually cried&we needed another holiday afterwards to get over it..Do not stay at this place it is extremely bad to say the least!!!!!?"

"Lovely cottage, very cosy, we felt very at home. The garden is nice, shame the weather wasnt better so we could enjoy it more! Located next to the car park and a parking permit is provided free for the week (for one vehicle, I think additional would cost more). Despite this location it never felt noisy, we had a peaceful stay. This location makes this cottage a great balance between seeing life in the centre of Lampeter and being able to walk to a very nearby Sainsburys and slightly further-away Co-op, and being able to head off to other places, such as the many beaches less than an hour west. I was also very grateful for the complimentary Stroopwafels when we arrived, though I may now have a stroopwafel addiction."

"My wife and I (+ dog) were the first guests at this cottage. We should be the first of many as this was an great place to stay. The attention to detail was excellent and their were lots of lovely touches throughout the cottage. The owners were most welcoming and generously allowed us to meet their animals, including donkeys, ponies and alpacas. There is a meadow on the site, where the owners have mowed a figure of 8 path which is great for exercising a dog. The local area does not offer any notible aminities, so be prepared to drive some distance for shopping and eating out, (but the countryside is superb). We had a wonderful stay; a home from home indeed. We may well make further bookings for Hen Llaeth."

"Very basic accommodation . Just about big enough for two people.Main drawback is the so called shower which was no more than a hand held shower head connected to the bath tap. There was no shower screen or curtain so the bathroom was liable to become soaked. The bath was poorly sealed to the wall leading to water leaking down the wall into the ground floor . There was no hand hold so the whole set up was a safety hazard . The oil fired boiler supplying hot water was vented beneath the kitchen and bedroom windows which gave rise to some mysterious odours when running. That aside, the area is very scenic and the local people were friendly and helpful."

"The cottage is rural and was perfect for our break . You could just open the doors and not worry about traffic as we took our dog with us. It is a working farm ,with cattle and sheep literally right outside you door ,but that is what we loved about it . Our dog not bothered with the live stock at all ,she would just look and keep on walking . This stunning coast is just a 20 min drive away Aberaeron ,new Quay, llangrannog , Tresaith And Aberporth all beautiful. Tresath was our favour . There is a pub at the top of the cove called the ship inn ,gorgeous looking out over the bay with a cold bottle of Prosecco ,couldn’t beat it .From Telford"
