What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Cuxton To Rent.
- Mrs Taylor, June 2018 - verified booking
"From start to finish, this holiday home exceeded our expectations, which were high to start with. The weekend was in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary and had to accommodate three generations. The property has the wow factor immediately, and with seven en suite rooms from which to choose, each equally beautifully decorated and furnished, we avoided the usual bedroom-envy! The main open plan lounge/kitchen/diner on first floor and has a lovely contemporary country feel. There is another lounge/diner and kitchen on ground floor leading out to garden. We had lots of garden fun and a bbq and the children liked using this room to rest or watch the obligatory Frozen on the tv. Sarah was the perfect host and we really appreciated the welcome basket and toys that had been left out for my grandchildren. My daughters are already planning a return visit, possibly for a family Christmas."

"As we took our two dogs it was well positioned next to the country park for walks and exercise. I failed to notice there was no enclosed area for them on the details. The barn conversion is cute but the white wooden floor boards are noisy and with gravel drive entering into the barn this was a challenge to keep clean. Decorated in a charming way particularly if you had 2 small children to sleep in the cupboard room which had fairy lights. I do not think it is suitable for dogs. Well positioned for London. Very pretty position but not sure what it would be like in the summer being right next to the horses and with limited ventilation. This is a central cottage of 3 and beware that the walls are very thin."

"Wonderful location and we both enjoyed our stay at Woodside for the two nights that we hired the cottage for in December. We were married on the grounds inside a beautiful church and ceremony was just magical. You must endeavour to visit Dode Church during your stay and take in the breathtaking views inside and out. There are some lovely walking areas for a good old ramble, a few local village pubs serving good food and at the end of the day you can have a relaxing soak back at the cottage in the hot tub which we enjoyed. Although there is no mobile phone reception due to poor signal there is a payphone at the cottage that can be used if needed. We would definitely go back again!"

"The purpose of our visit was to visit an elderly relative nearby. In that respect the cottage was ideal. The location in the Langdon Hills was lovely and perfect for walking the dog with walks literally on the doorstep. The accommodation is good for 2 adults - the mezzanine sleeping area is really only suitable for children as there is limited headroom. In terms of facilities, the cottage needs updating to bring it up the standards we expect. We were fortunate to have quiet neighbours for the majority of our stay but on the last few nights we were kept awake - poor soundproofing! There is no DVD as advertised."

"We had a brilliant week staying at the lovely Hop House. As said in another review, the pictures don't do justice to the size and condition of the house. Everything was beautifully clean and the kitchen equipment was plentiful (something we have struggled with in previous accommodation, being a group of 11) and good quality. The Wifi was reliable and worked throughout the house. We had some lovely days out during the week - would recommend the gardens at Doddington, a trip on the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway and we also had a brilliant day at Diggerland!"
