What our customers are saying about our Christmas Cottages In Cressage To Rent.

"We were greeted and welcomed and shown around. The cottage is next door to where the owners live, which helps if there is a problem or you need information. This is not a working farm.Access to the cottage from the main road is via an unmade potholed track. The layout inside is a bit curious, but we found it OK. The galley kitchen can be a bit of a scrum if more than one person is in there as it is also the passage to both bedrooms. One bedroom has an on-suite but the other bedroom has a bathroom accessed through the kitchen. We found this shower tended to be a bit cool. Weirdly this one is electric but the other one was off the mains and worked very well. One thing that needs to be realised is that entering the cottage is via a step which is quite high and someone with mobility issues may find this a problem. Overall it was comfortable and worked well for the four of us."

"a very pleasant stay. cottage generally very good, but the sofa is not the best for relaxing. We were promised a barbeque and a cellar. Dont mind about the cellar but if we knew there wasnt a barbeque we would have bought our own. We ended up having to go and buy one.the location is excellent and very convenient for all the local attractions in Ironbridge. Nearest pub is 2 mins walk.I think a little more space should be created in the front garden to be able to make the most of the view over Ironbridge Gorge. there is plenty of room for a table and chairs out the front if the plants were tamed a little loved watching the buzzards in the day, and the owls and bats at night."

"This was a delightful cottage. Set in a street back from the main road, it was very peaceful, with lovely views over the Severn gorge. Very convenient for all the services and attractions of the town and area; we walked everywhere. Cottage was compact, but well equipped and very cosy with the fire. Parking was a bit tight and the road is narrow - go carefully and be prepared to leave your car in the car park by the Museum of the Gorge - but this is only a few minutes walk away. This is a small inconvenience for what was a gorgeous and convenient location and a very characterful property. It was wonderful sitting in the front garden enjoying the view."

"During a three day break with my two adult daughters, we explored nine out of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, Ludlow Castle, and, being members, two National Trust places (Attingham Park and Benthall Hall). The cottage location was ideal for all of these locations and was a very spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped place to stay. We were blessed with exceptionally warm and sunny weather for September. We were pleased to be able to fit in all that we had planned. We also had time to follow an excellent treasure trail in the gorge (directions online), visit the local gift shops in the town and even complete a 1000 piece jigsaw!"

"Whilst this Summerhouse is in a good location for visiting areas of interest, it had little local amenities and all pubs were closed all the time. The 'cottage was warm, but sheepskins on the two lounge seats were a menace for comfort.Too much china etc, but no Dustpan and no hairdryer. The owner didn't seem to be interested on arrival and we didn't see him again before we left. The garden was certainly good for the dog!We did report the problem with the door key, but again just replied that it was difficult. At first we thought we would get locked out.Good views."
