What our customers are saying about our School Holiday Cottages In Cornwall To Rent.

"Initially we thought we'd made a huge mistake with the location because there was just nowhere to park and nowhere available to eat on the evening we arrived. However, we decided to park on the road leading into Mousehole which meant a 15ish minute walk. But that turned out fine. The parking was free and the view made the walk really enjoyable. We went into Penzance to eat, plenty of choice. We visited Lands End and enjoyed the beach and walks around Mousehole. The beach at nearby Porthcurno is beautiful. The cottage is dated but that didn't bother us, in fact we loved it. All we would change is the beds. 2 singles in one of the rooms would be great as we have teenagers, a girl and a boy and they can't share. My daughter ended up with the short straw and inflatable bed. Non of this ruined our holiday, we had a lovely time. Highly recommended, we would love to go back."

"Excellent property with a range of quality equipment, stunning kitchen and comfortable arrangement for 4 people at the dining table or in the lounge. Bedrooms well equipped but note the decent shower is in the twin bed room whereas the master on-suite has a shower in the bath. Underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs keep the house warm when required and plenty of hot water. Mobile signal good, wi-fi a little slow full Sky TV package. It is totally private outside with wide ranging views. House is in the countryside so is very quiet and there are no local shops or pubs within walking distance but Wadebridge about 8 miles away has a large Tesco's and Padstow is another few miles for the quintessential cornish coastal location. In March 2019 some new owners bought the property."

"Linhay cottage is on Bodigga Cliff, it's a 1-min walk from the cottage door to stunning scenery on the SW Coastal Path, and a 15-min walk down the Path to Millendreath beach. Dogs aren't allowed on Milendreath beach from 10am to 6pm in the summer, but our dog loved having the run of the huge garden, and scampering along the Coastal Path east to Looe and west to Seaton. From here we day-tripped to Looe, Polperro, and even Newquay and St Ives. The evening sunsets over the fields were beautiful. We ate and drank al fresco to enjoy the splendour. It was so quiet, calm, and gorgeous. We loved every minute. The wifi is great too. I would absolutely recommend this place to families with children, and anyone who likes to see the stars at night! We will be back."

"The one local amenity The Village Inn, was excellent. I would recommend this to able bodied people. The managers were very efficient and friendly. But if one of your party needs a really accessible property: There are grab rails around the downstairs toilet and a slope to the front door; Both upstairs and downstairs showers are over bath, not easy for the over 80's in our party and completely inaccessible for my father who needs assistance walking; there are no grab rails, or mirror, or towel rail, near the downstairs sink; without moving at least 2 of the ( very heavy and soft) chairs, there is no access to the dining table for a wheelchair. The grounds are lovely, but pushing a wheelchair on the loose stones was very difficult."

"Glenside was a great place to stay for exploring south Cornwall without having to travel to far. Lovely beaches just minutes away and all the amenities you could need also very close. The house itself was lovely and spacious with everything there you could ever need including the hot tub that was great after a long day exploring. The owner is very friendly and on hand for any issues that we had. The only real issue we had was with the garden not being fully enclosed so we had to keep a close eye on our spaniel especially when we had a visit from a wandering local dog. ( Owner of glenside has been notified and should address the situation of garden security ). All in all this is a great base for a Cornish adventure."
