"We had a lovely stay at Top Barn. The barn itself is clean, modern, well done and perfectly kitted out, although we found the sofas very uncomfortable. Lovely big space outside. We knew the house was some distance from amenities etc as explained in the description of the barn, which we thought wouldn’t be a problem but by the end of the week we were a bit fed up with it, and is the only reason we wouldn’t stay there again. This didn’t have anything to do with the Barn itself, which I would highly recommend as long as you are happy in the middle of nowhere (plus side is that Tesco delivered!) The other thing to note is that you are in very close proximity to the owners so your paths do cross (which wasn’t an issue for us) and they do cross the garden space to get to barns every day so if you are looking for somewhere super private this wouldn’t be the house for you."

"Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings but if your on holiday with dogs I would look at a cottage closer to the beach as we had 2 dogs and we had to drive out very day because there was not many dog walks. There was no signal so if you wanted to use your phone you had to drive out which is a total pain. The stair case in the cottage is not suitable with dogs but my dogs nearly fell down them as there very slippery. The farmer was lovely and when we arrived there was homemade cakes and tea bags so this was very nice. I would recommend this property but if you've got dogs I would choose somewhere near to the beach or more central."

"Our 2nd enjoyable stay in Beachview. We find the apt comforteable and spacious, allowing us to spread out and relax. Having two televisions means not missing individuals preferred programs. The view towards sunsets is stunning and one never tired of looking. We had a couple of serious storms during our stay making daytime sightseeing difficult. The apt had everything we needed to just stay in and wait for better weather. There are a number of supermarkets in close driving range, along with a shopping center. For us, the apt was a good base for visiting the Gower, Tenby, a number of gardens and National Trust properties."

"This is a beautifully renovated cottage with some quirky little features which we loved. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Nice touch with the welcome bottle of wine and Welsh cakes and a very friendly and informative owner to greet you on arrival. It’s in a great location with the village only a 5 min walk away. Beautiful beaches, castles or Brecon Beacons all within a short drive for lovely days out. We had family come to visit and all celebrated the Royal wedding with Pimms and a cream tea in the garden which was great fun. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it."

"The isolated location was great for star gazing. We even saw shooting stars! Watching the kites being fed was wonderful. But after 3 nights we couldn't see the skies as it was cloudy and the moon was high. And even though we knew in advance there were no shops or pubs for miles, I felt we were a bit too isolated. Mobile phone signal was weak but that had some benefits! We saw wild ponies crossing the road one evening. They were fabulous. The accommodation was lovely. Very well equipped. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. Even though it was cold outside, we were very cosy inside."
