What our customers are saying about our Two Bedroom Cottages In Buxton To Rent.

"I stayed in Ivy Cottage over Christmas and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to have a rest from work and relax. It's ideally situated for lovely walks in the Peak District and the village shops kept me well stocked with fresh local produce. The cottage is well proportioned and has the added bonus of an open fire in the sitting room, although I never used it because I was very cosy with the central heating which was easy to adjust as necessary. I chose to use the smaller bedroom which had a very comfy bed that meant I had my best nights of sleep in ages. Ken, the owner, was very nice and couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks x"

"This is a lovely, well equipped, cosy and warm cottage perfect for that getaway feeling. It is located at the end of a quiet lane with a gorgeous view of the country hills. Thanks to the neighbours efforts there are plenty of birds visiting the forecourt which only enhances the idyllic surroundings. There are plenty of sign-posted walks from the village or within a short driving distance and basic provisions can be bought from the local co-operative store. There are a couple of local cafes, pubs and a fresh fruit and veg store within easy walking distance of the property. The cottage and village of Tideswell are well worth a visit."
Mrs Warne, Nuneaton, Warwickshire - verified booking
"Right from the phone call arranging our arrival time through to the day we left, we felt that we were welcomed guests. The barn was really well furnished and there was absolutely everything there that we needed and more - even down to suitable plates and tumblers for our small grandchildren (which is not always the case). The location is ideal for touring, walking and/or cycling with one of the walks starting from just a few hundred yards up the road. We will definitely book the barn again."
Mrs Helen Cable, Wellingborough, - verified booking
"Excellent location, with easy walking distance to the centre of Buxton. The large open plan and angled ceiling to the living/kitchen area was impressive as you entered the property, which in itself was attractively presented. Was lucky enough to enjoy the area when it was completely covered in snow - which meant some lovely walking for miles in the snow with attractive views. Buxton itself has a lot going for it with many grand villa style buildings, a good theatre and pavilion."
Ali & David Neaves - verified booking
"The cottage was very well equipped and had everything you needed. Plenty of books, music and information of surrounding areas available. It was a short walk into the village where you could get your newspaper, visit the bank or even go to the hairdressers without an appointment. Tideswell is certainly well able to cover all your needs - even Wifi was available in the library. Would certainly recommend the cottage to anyone who wanted a quiet and peaceful location."
