"A wonderful cottage, the most modern we have stayed in. The owners are so friendly and hospitalble. We had homemade bread, cake and a complimentary breakfast waiting for us. If youAre a dog owner then be aware there are sheep that back on the the garden, divided by a wire fence so in fullView, just a polite heads up if you have excitable dogs! The hot tub was a wonderful luxury and kept clean and monitored on a daily basis. The nearest supermarket is in Aberystwyth (Morrisons) so choice is limited nearby. The local car garage in tall-y-bont (murco) was a great help when we arrived unannounced with a suspected problem on our 4x4 couldn't rate them enough for helping! The view from this cottage is utterlyBreath taking...if you are a bird lover, there are plenty of red kites to see in the area. I recommend visiting the red kite feeding centre about 30mins away. The feeding experience is out of this world. I can't rate this stay enough. Modern tech if youWant home from home. And peace and quiet and seclusion if you want that instead! Don't hesitate book this cottage today!"

"The cottage itself was lovely, it was the touches that let it down. Cottage for 10 people with only 8 place settings at the dining table. Lamps with no bulbs. Not enough (any) baking trays. The bin was full when we arrived. The wi-fi doesn't work but that's because the phone line has been cut off. But the worst thing was the Customer Service, we had no hot water on arrival and had to call 3 times before an engineer was sent out. The next day we had to call again because it had stopped working and then had to call and call before an electrician was dispatched, he couldn't fix it so we had to stay in the next day for another one. In all of the phone calls that we made not once did we speak to the owner, always the Receptionist at the hotel.. and after all the trouble we had with the hot water not once did the owner call us to apologise for the inconvenience caused. She sent us a wi-fi dongle too, but it had no money on it....."

"Beautiful cottage. All the amenities required. Perfect scenery. Quiet and tranquil. Lovely decor. Comfortable sofas and beds. Loved the kettle so much, we bought one back at home. The black lion pub was lovely for food. The owner made us cake on arrival and supplied us with a full ingredients for a cooked breakfast including Welsh dragon sausages. Lovely owners, very friendly. The only down side is its too far away from Anything else to do. But great if you want an isolated break away. We went on a steam train from Aberystwyth to devil's bridge. Walked up the waterfalls. Excited to see a chocolate shop, but the lady was coughing all over her hands while making stuff. So we didn't buy anything!! The shop cafe by the station was lovely. Had a seating area out side with a basket of blankets for you to use. Much needed as it was bright and very cold. Lovely chilled breakaway."

"We have just spent a relaxing three days at Bwlch Cliced cottage, located on a hill-side and with views to both sea and hills. The owners have done a fantastic job of converting their stone barn into light and spacious semi-detached cottages, where guests are welcomed by fresh flowers, home-made cake and ample provisions for next morning’s breakfast. A lot of thought has gone into creating a stylish and comfortable interior which makes the cottage both elegant and cosy. We appreciated the comfortable beds and lounge-room sofas, plus the equally wonderful shower. We did a couple of smallish walks around Talybont and Aberystwyth, plus managed to fit in two excellent meals at the Black Lion Hotel in Talybont. All in all a very satisfying week-end. We would warmly recommend a stay at Bwlch Cliced.Kirsten and MikeCanberra Australian 7 November 2014"

"Fantastic cottage in a brilliant location, with high views looking out across the harbor and bay. There are narrow lanes leading to the cottage, so travel with care, but if you are after a peaceful and tranquil location, then look no further. Aside from a footpath running parallel to the cottage (we saw the odd person using it), there is no one else around to bother you. The town is a 15 minute walk downhill, where there is a small local shop and several eateries (we can recommend The Dovey Inn). The beach is large with ample parking. We were there just outside of the Welsh Easter holidays so it was fairly quiet, I suspect in full holiday season it would be very busy. The cottage is expensive for what it is, but relaxing in the hotub on an evening staring out over the coastline - well, it was worth every penny!"
