"We have just returned from our stay at Le Sillon. Firstly the good points - the view was brilliant from both the garden and the sitting room and constantly changed with the tide as the sea was literally a 2 minute walk away. There was a restaurant just behind the beach and the owner of the local bar was very friendly and we went there quite a few evenings for a glass of wine before returning to the house after a walk along the paths behind the beaches and coastline. Unfortunately, the double bed in the second bedroom was very bad as the mattress sagged towards the middle and gave me a back ache. Somebody else had obviously had problems with the bed because they had put chair cushions under the mattress. I was going to sleep in one of the single beds but they had sheets of cardboard under their mattresses so that they were very noisy to sit on, let alone sleep on. The facilities included Satellite TV but there were no English channels. There is no WIFI either and the CD player did not work. The kettle was a travel kettle so was very small and slow. There was no gate on the drive so that it was not secure for our dog to go out into the garden without one of us following behind him everywhere. The owners manual included useful contact telephone numbers, how to use the television and the washing machine, but did not mention how to use the alarm on the swimming pool. The open-tread staircase has obviously been replaced as it is now not open-tread, but unfortunately this has been done badly as it is not level and the top step was only two inches to the landing, which meant that it could be a trip hazard. We would not go back, as there would appear to be places which are much better value for money."

"The journey was entirely unproblematic, landlord-friendly and easily accessible in the neighborhood. The house offers abundant space with living room plus TV room (satellite). With more than six persons Specifically "s but to eat closely. Equipment is ok. Rooms-beam ceilings are virtually non-insulated and thus quite noisy for footfall. Conversely, the area is very quiet. The small beach is not 1000 meters, with sand (except at high tide), and enjoyable little frequented - more for the locals, the bar in town sells baguettes every day and has a mini-supermarket, in the neighboring Plougasneau there is a large Casino supermarket and many small shops in. lanmeur has the Super U also open on Sunday morning -. interesting for the arrival weekend cycling is possible there - but the slopes are more for sports cyclists walking shoes are recommended -., the routes along the coast of the GR 34 are pretty sexy . The house is situated in a valley in Funkloch no phone, no Internet Free Wi-Fi is "s, for example, in the neighboring town at the Tourist Info -., and actually at almost every tourist info in the area. Use home coordinates! In the village there are no house numbers, but only the names of the buildings ("Ker" House)"

"Recently we made a welcome return to Coat Canton just outside Pont Aven for a couple of weeks. For about half the time we had a heat wave and we were able to take full advantage of the spacious garden and eat our meals outside.Overall this is a large house sleeping up to 7. It is close to Pont Aven in driving terms, but a bit far to walk, particularly as coming back is uphill. The proprietor provides a plentiful supply of wood for the fire which cheered op the living/dining room on the colder days.In most respects this is an excellent place to stay a little marred by the fact that the number of matching plates, cups, glasses etc is rather limited and less than the sleeping capacity of the house. A pity as that takes the edge off things. Nonetheless, we'd go back and the family that looks after the house are charming and friendly."

"The 4 bedroom house was spacious and comfortable, with a large garden and outdoor dining area. It was full of equipment. All the machines worked well, and electricity was included in the price. However, although the info said that Wi Fi was included, it had to be paid for via an 'orange' hub. The instructions were unclear and we had to visit an 'orange' outlet in Quimper to get it to function. This required a payment of 40 euros put on to the sim card. This lasted just a week, and we had to repeat the process for a second week, at a cost of another 40 euros. The house coped well with our family which for one night amounted to 7 persons, the maximum. We found the upstairs wooden floorboards very squeaky, which woke some up when anyone used the facilities during the night."

"Cruel !! By far the worst holiday of my life! Good thing there are no unpleasant pictures on the internet !! The whole house smells like a mixture of urine, dampness and mold. The equipment is underground, no cups, but a lot of ancient junk. In the kitchen, you can not open a cabinet without falling from the mist. The mat before the shower stank so much urine that we had to wash them right away. My almost 80 year old mother sat down on a garden seat, which broke directly. (No, my mother is not overweight!) Fatal. We are rather left a day because we do not have it anymore. The landlords are very old people and only my respect for age and my lack of French skills, it is thanks to them that we are not freaking out already in place."
