What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Cottages In Brittany To Rent.

"Recently we made a welcome return to Coat Canton just outside Pont Aven for a couple of weeks. For about half the time we had a heat wave and we were able to take full advantage of the spacious garden and eat our meals outside.Overall this is a large house sleeping up to 7. It is close to Pont Aven in driving terms, but a bit far to walk, particularly as coming back is uphill. The proprietor provides a plentiful supply of wood for the fire which cheered op the living/dining room on the colder days.In most respects this is an excellent place to stay a little marred by the fact that the number of matching plates, cups, glasses etc is rather limited and less than the sleeping capacity of the house. A pity as that takes the edge off things. Nonetheless, we'd go back and the family that looks after the house are charming and friendly."

"The 4 bedroom house was spacious and comfortable, with a large garden and outdoor dining area. It was full of equipment. All the machines worked well, and electricity was included in the price. However, although the info said that Wi Fi was included, it had to be paid for via an 'orange' hub. The instructions were unclear and we had to visit an 'orange' outlet in Quimper to get it to function. This required a payment of 40 euros put on to the sim card. This lasted just a week, and we had to repeat the process for a second week, at a cost of another 40 euros. The house coped well with our family which for one night amounted to 7 persons, the maximum. We found the upstairs wooden floorboards very squeaky, which woke some up when anyone used the facilities during the night."

"A lovely spacious cottage in a great location. It was rather unfortunate that the week we were there was hedge trimming time! This included several neighbours' gardens and Ker Lavo itself, which meant it was rather noisy for 3 mornings in a row. The local shop, which is bright, modern and well stocked, was an easy walk and also had a good sized car park. The other amenities in the village (pharmacie, tabac/presse, post office) were a little further way but still walking distance. The couple who welcomed us on arrival were very friendly and showed us around, which was very helpful. The gift of cider and biscuits were much appreciated. Overall, although the weather wasn't great, we had a very nice week."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ker Lavo. It is in a pretty, very small village but is well served by a good little supermarket that provides fresh bread daily and roast chicken to order. There is also a good village bakery. The beach is fabulous; it is not crowded but has all the amenities required for a family day out. We particularly enjoyed visiting some great local towns: Lannion, Peross, Andy our favourite, Treguier. We can strongly recommend La Rocco restaurant in the neighbouring Trelevern, no more than 5 minutes away, and our favourite, Les Dunes, 7 or 8 minutes away. The house has all that one could require from a holiday let, though it is a little tired in its furnishings."

"Felt like a hotel room, very impersonal. Very basically equipped. The welcome package was a small packet of biscuits. It was advertised that the t.v. Was French channels only, no problem, there was a DVD player, but no dvds. This place is advertised in the U.K. but the caretakers have a very limited command of the English language. The gite is in need of redecorating internally, it’s a bit scruffy. The property is in a small hamlet outside a large village, the village has the usual collection of local shops, most things can be bought there. Only 10 minutes drive into Quimper, a city with everything you could wish for. No local information folder was offered, a big deficiency."
