What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Brittany To Rent.

"The house was very quiet in a secluded cozy garden. The owners lived behind us and left us completely alone. They were, however, right when you needed them. Ideal for 2 people. Possibly. a third person. Our little dog was also welcome. We found the cottage also beautiful! It was renovated in its original condition. Typical old Breton with the comforts of a modern home. Practical and cozy and really something for tranquility. We also got very lucky with the weather, could therefore enjoy every evening of the BBQ that works very easily. For shopping we went to Carrefour to Le Fouet, but there was also a good caterer in Querrien. Went regularly drink on a terrace in Quimperlé, a cozy place, walking on the cliffs of the Brittany cliffs at Moëlan-sur-Mer (Trénez), swimming in the sea at Le Pouldu and took the car to make a day trip eg. To Pont -Aven. In short, it went too fast and hope to come back here for sure again. Because even in bad weather (we had the first two days) you can have a good time here! Oh yes, the wide beds were delicious!"

"We were well received by the owners. They are there if you need them and leave you alone. The cottage was in accordance with the pictures, but the garden is a little bigger. The garden was nicely closed, so our dog could go there on his own. In the gite there was really everything, even a flashlight. The bakery right at the left in Querrien is a 2-minute drive and sells delicious baguettes (also half) and fruit tarts. In the surrounding area, many beaches, rough seas (eg Le Pouldu), quaint seaports (eg Doëlan), larger cities such as Quimper and Concarneau, Carnac megaliths, Pont Aven, the beautiful Locronan Roches Diable nearby, chapels, castle Trévarez and all within an hour and sometimes much shorter! In short, a wonderful holiday spot with a roaring rooster and a cheerful cow in the background. We enjoyed!"

"As a location, ideally placed ...this is within 30- 60 mins of some amazing locations....Mont St Michel, St Malo, Dinan, Dol de Bretagne, Dol de Mont...please excuse spelling. Accommodation well equipped and sufficient for a family of 5 ...although the site definitely suits larger family groups who may take 2-3 chalets. It also will suit families with young children, especially the pool , which can get very busy. GThe nearest supermarket is in Plougeres about 5 km away...so do not rely on local shop which is v friendly and helpful but is very small. We found staff helpful ..but I reckon with a bit more searching I could have found somewhere a bit cheaper ...but maybe without a pool. Recommend? ...yes with conditions....but no complaints about our stay."

"Felt like a hotel room, very impersonal. Very basically equipped. The welcome package was a small packet of biscuits. It was advertised that the t.v. Was French channels only, no problem, there was a DVD player, but no dvds. This place is advertised in the U.K. but the caretakers have a very limited command of the English language. The gite is in need of redecorating internally, it’s a bit scruffy. The property is in a small hamlet outside a large village, the village has the usual collection of local shops, most things can be bought there. Only 10 minutes drive into Quimper, a city with everything you could wish for. No local information folder was offered, a big deficiency."

"We were a little disappointed that the owners had not bothered to do things like details of the nearest shop (which as it turned out was a fairly good supermarket only minutes away but you would not have found it by accident), nearby places of interest or details of where to find the local Tourist Office, a pot of salt in the kitchen, washing up liquid, and the toilet rolls were so tucked away we only found them the last couple of days by which time, of course, we'd had to go and buy some. All little things but they make the difference, we think. The beds were hard and very low and the fridge was extremely noisy. The garden was open at the back, not at all private."
