"Stayed recently and had a lovely stay.Welcome pack was much appreciated. The property is in a quiet location and Mablethorpe / Cleethorpes are within driving distance.Property is extremely well equipped, in fact I’d go as far as saying the best equipped we have stayed in. The owner had even thought of fans which were needed due to the hot weather we were fortunate to experience.Central heating control (although not needed) was accessible and having previously stayed at property whereby the owners control when heating goes on this is a plus and would encourage me to book later in the year.Overall property was comfortable and very clean. Parking on drive which can easily accommodate more than one car. Plenty of seating outside and a gate at the drive should you have a dog with you.Local area has a couple of small shops McColl’s and a Costcutter (or similar). There is a Morrions in Louth, however, it is a smaller Morrisons. There is a bigger superstore Tesco at Cleethorpes and depending where you are travelling from a Morrisons Superstore at Laceby (Grimsby) which we stopped at on the way to the property.Owner very friendly and as she wasn’t available when we arrived she called to check us on the next day, and called to put bins out as well.Would not hesitate to stay again if I was to holiday in this part of the country."

"Accommodation was to a very high standard and very spacious. Much of the kitchen equipment was brand new and everything worked perfectly. The house was very clean and there was sufficient linens and bedding. The outside of the property was perfectly manicured and access to the lake and it's surroundings was an extra bonus. Our 10 year old loved feeding the fish in the lake during the vacation. Overall we were very happy and satisfied with our stay at Sandes Bywater. To explain the 9/10 rating, which reflects just how good the rental property was, as we haven't given such a high mark previously. The house is by a busy road and close to working farms. We experienced road and farm noise at the front of the house, but less so at the back near the lake. We were a party of nine and the bathroom layout and access to continuous hot water was a little challenging, but with a little planning we resolved the issue but a bigger water tank would have helped. A bathroom upstairs, where our kids slept would have been a great help. That overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and in the area. The owners were very hospitable and wanted us to enjoy our time there. The welcome basket was fantastic and second to none. It made a great start to the vacation !"

"The cottage is fitted out to an extremely high standard. It is in a very quiet rural location ideal for getting away from it all and just chilling out. The cottage is very warm and the shower is the best one I have ever had the pleasure to use. There is a wood burning fire in the living room which adds character and acts as a focal point but is not essential for warmth. There is an adequate WiFi connection despite the rural location and a large TV with the digital terrestrial channels. The only small issue is that the cottage is very close to the owners own house but that wasn't particularly a problem as the owners kept themselves very much to themselves after the initial greeting. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and self catering is very easy. I would recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a bit of peace and quiet and particularly to anyone with a dog as it is pet friendly and there are plenty of local lanes to walk on. Take wood for the fire as it burns well and enjoy the rural atmosphere."

"We've just got back and wish we were still there, we needed a quiet relaxing break due to my wife finishing Chemotherapy for breast cancer recently and got that in bucket loads with Tutti Frutti. The layout and style of the Chalet is of a high standard and was complemented massively by the location of the property. Being near to the beach was perfect for our dogs and also when we invited friends down for the day. Cleethorpes is only a short car journey, walk or train ride (on the local steam railway) away, where there are some lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants. The owner of the property was brilliant and helpful throughout our stay, always on hand to help if we needed it. Thank you a 5 star experience from us at a time when it was really needed."

"The cottage was ideally situated with excellent walks in all directions from the front door. Easy to walk into the village, both pavements and street lights. (normally missing when you book a cottage in the country) Both pubs were pet friendly and served reasonable bar meals. The cottage was nicely decorated and well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was hot and powerful. The owner was very friendly and left a fab welcome pack. A short drive to Mablethorpe Beach where we were able to take our dog onto the beach.Over the last 7 years we have probably used 10 different cottages. This is the first one we have said we would re-visit."
