What our customers are saying about our Two Bedroom Cottages In Beccles To Rent.

"This cottage is just wonderful, well kitted out, comfortable beds and sofas, brilliant kitchen and equipment. It's a bit remote, no light pollution so the night sky is amazing but it is easy enough to get everywhere we wanted to go. Beaches about 12 miles away etc, wonderful small towns reasonably close. Places like Beccles with it's river walks are amazing. Bungay is also worth a visit. Walberswick and Dunwich (village, museum, beach and heath) really worth visiting, they have great areas to walk, dog friendly beaches and cafes and free parking. Do not miss Framlingham and Orford as both have castles and are lovely small towns. Well worth a visit. I do not like Southwold with it's dog unfriendly beaches . Many people walking their dogs around the town, not able to go in cafes or on the beach and all thinking like me -"do we need to visit places like this"!"

"What a place!! Worth every penny, quite an eclectic place with lovely old things interspersed with some religious and some very modern things - we even loved the stuffed animals (as well as the plastic dinosaurs!). Lovely welcome pack - which even had a bowl and some treats for our guinea pig (Bob). The property had so much character and the rooms were all huge - bedrooms were very comfortable and we all slept very well. Loved the garden by the river (bit of a walk for an old fogey like me - but worth it!), we spent many hours sitting there listening to our cd's we played on the jukebox. Bianca, who is a chef, loved the kitchen and cooked every day. Wonderful memories with two special friends, we didn't want to come home! Ms Potter, you did us proud, Thank you! Andrea, Melanie, Bianca & Bob."

"An EXCELLENT property, of the highest quality.Beautifully presented and well equipped. The sign for the property was a little far back from the road so we missed it the first time round!! Could be nearer the entrance, perhaps? The house was beautifully furnished and the bathrooms & kitchen were of a very high spec. One query however, I wonder why the duvets on the beds were filled with sythentic materials and not down/feather? It made the excellent beds not as comfortable as they may have been. However, that was a small personal preference. Overall a very superior property. The owner was very helpful when there was an issue with the heating. Lovely flowers, when we arrived, wine and milk in the fridge. Well done all concerned. April 2012."

"We used Sarah's Cottage as a base for our family history studies and was enthralled by the whole of the Norfolk/Suffolk border areas, beautiful is an understatement. I understand we were the first to stay at the cottage and have to say there were some lovely touches, the owners Sarah and Alan were really helpful and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated, well done you two. To think that this cottage was built 140 years before our furthest back ancestors is amazing, they probably walked past the house. Would definitely visit again if only to climb those lovely tactile wooden staircases."

"Lovely quirky cottage in a great setting. Beware if elderly, disabled or with very young children! Stairs to both bedrooms VERY steep and dangerous. Also, wifi not working ( with 2 daughters studying for exams- this was a priority criteria when looking for a cottage) and problem not resolved while there. No written info on how to connect initially so had to ring owners to find out. Box in bedroom- not ideal for sleeping if it were working. Welcome pack with fresh milk and bread would have been more appreciated! Sorry, overall, we are disappointed and a long weekend was enough."
