What our customers are saying about our Pet Friendly Cottages In Ancroft To Rent.

"The house was really spacious, good for a family stay. Location is ok, enjoyed Alnwick and Newcastle, not much to do in the Berwick upon tweed/spittal area. Nice if your looking for a quiet getaway. On arrival we were given a bouquet of cupcakes which was a nice gesture. It says wifi is free but they ask for £5 a week for using it. Not a big deal but It didn't work at all when we were there. On the day of arrival we were told don't rush away, as the next people to stay were arriving 5 days later. We were eating breakfast and hadn't packed to leave and there was a knock at the door, the cleaners had arrived. We were then told to leave the property within 15 minutes. I was not happy with the attitude of them, very rude,It spoiled the end of a good stay. So we had to rush. I personally wouldn't stay here again, but recommend it for others. The property was value for money for the time of year."

"Excellent location, particularly if you have a dog as property set within a 'doggy' community. Lots of personal touches provided by owners such as fresh flowers, a welcome pack of milk, coffee, biscuits, eggs and wine. There is even a welcome doggy tin of treats, a lead and poop bags! Had a really wonderful stay at Corbett cottage. It's location also lends itself to visiting the local attractions, of which there are many, including an easy drive up to Edinburgh. "

"This cottage is as you would expect on a working farm, the movement of vehicles was not disturbing in the least, the sound of the animals was so refreshing, the night sky was unbelievable; as good as it comes! The farm also has its own water supply which he should bottle; better than any bottled water I have ever tasted. The wood burning stove was massive with an endless supply of logs, and to top it all of the farmer is a nice friendly chap. "

"Lovely well positioned holiday let. Really near the sea with lovely sea views. Nice promenade within 50 yards to walk. Good layout. Lovely and warm. Overall good standard of cleanliness. Nice to have parking right next to the house. House slightly let down by badly burst sofa in the lounge and swivel chair that would fall over if you leant over to the left also in the lounge. Could be an accident waiting to happen. Very easily resolved."

"We had a excellent holiday, the cottage spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture, very comfortable double bed, plenty of wardrobe space. Well equipped kitchen. The enclosed garden was secure, a bonus for our dog. Patio furniture we used when weather permited. Great having lunch in the garden. Good location, lovely friendly village, ideal to visit the coast and the Scottish Borders. We would highly recommend this property."
