"We loved this place. I remember sitting outside it last year without any thought of hiring it. It must have stuck in my mind because when looking for a place to stay it immediately jumped to the top of the list. We were a couple of days late owing to a family emergency but the Curwens accommodated us happily. The cottage was everything it promised to be, It was great to sit on the balcony, having breakfast watching the sea. (the view is delightful) It was an ideal base for our adventures. As a treat we allowed ourselves dinner at the Lobster Pot at Church Bay. A fabulous dinner, well worth the money. It was comfortable, well equipped and very clean and tidy. The only down side was no wifi, happily the pub up the road has it, so win win, wifi and a beer. I would recommend this cottage wholeheartedly. We are hoping to retire to Anglesey ( Bull Bay in particular) soon and would use this cottage as a base for house hunting. Thank you for a great stay."

"If you need a quiet 'away from it all' place to stay with the option of easy driving to plenty of things to do, this cottage is perfect. We stayed for a week in July and were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and modern feel to the cottage, think National Trust Cottage level of detail and quality. The patio has wide views overlooking the sea and surrounding land which are stunning. Also perfect for viewing the northern night sky as there is very little light pollution. The garden area is also shared with the adjacent holiday cottage, we only saw the family staying there a few times and really wasn't an issue.Anglesey and North Wales has loads to do, we barely scratched the surface. Driving is easy as there is less traffic and generally more relaxed so makes getting around a doddle. From here we visited Zip world, Snowdon, Beaumaris, Parys mountain and plenty of other local places and cafes."

"This spacious upside down accommodation has amazing views of rocky Bull Bay, it is generally finished to a high standard and is comfortable and homely. The two balconies overlooking the bay were lovely to sit and relax on with a cup of tea. However, I was disappointed with the level of cleanliness of the kitchen and the shower tiles - on arrival I had to clean the fridge shelves of previous spillages and kitchen counters which were sticky. My daughter also had to change beds after the first night as one of the twin beds was very creaky. However, my children very much enjoyed skimming stones in the bay and watching for seals and my husband (an avid bird watcher) was enthralled by all the birds and other wildlife. The nearby coastal path is beautiful and Church bay (blue flag beach) was good for body boarding. Caernarfon is also worth a day visit with its independent shops and lovely estuary views."

"Absolutely stunning house with the most amazing views. Incredible sunrise/sets to enjoy from the garden or upstairs balcony windows. The house is 5* for a reason; it's immaculate, perfectly equipped, well thought out modern design yet comfortable and beautifully furnished. It's close to local pubs, attractions and beaches. Loved the Copper Mine Museum and Walking trail. Lots of fabulous pubs, cafes and restaurants. Also fantastic outside space and short walk to great path networks across the moor to the Coastal Trail. If you have a dog/s then there is so much to do and lots of dog friendly places to eat/run/explore on Angelsey.Overall; fabulous hosts, great welcome hamper, stunning accommodation, wonderful location. Would highly recommend and really hope to be back one day."

"Had a fantastic weeks holiday here. This house has everything you could need - beautiful views, well equipped kitchen, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The owners are extremely welcoming and have collected a lot of information on things to do in the area. There is also a Co-op in Amlwch which has a good selection of food and wine.We picked up the Coastal walk from the Port in Amlwch and had a lovely walk over to the lighthouse. There are some excellent beaches within a 15 minute drive. We spent quite a bit of time at Lligwy beach. We headed North on the Coastal path from the beach where are some harder to reach beaches, (approximately 25 mins walk), that are worth the trek.We will definitely be returning!"
