What our customers are saying about our Two Bedroom Apartments In Ilfracombe To Rent.

"We stayed in this apartment with a 3 year old, a teenager, 4 adults and a pensioner and it was a great holiday. The place is very well kept, is clean and well decorated. The owners were very nice, helpful and gave advice on places to eat and visit. The owners have left toys for the children which is a lovely touch, DVD's and books. The location is fantastic and is between the seafront and the town with a view of the sea from the balcony. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and crockery and all of the appliances are clean and good quality. There was plenty of space and the bedrooms are a decent size. The only thing that was missing was internet but I understand the difficulty of this. Our mobiles did not get a good reception so this could not be used either but this is probably a good thing as we had a teenager with us :). You will not be disappointed with this holiday home. One piece of advice is to buy a weekly car park pass as this covers quite a few places in North Devon. The person below offered his parking space but as we were traveling around so much, we found this more suitable. It is a bit of a distance but if you get chance, the Williams Arms in Braunton has a fantastic carvery and the building itself is a stunning thatched restaurant. Google it and you will see what I mean."

"The cottage is in an extremely remote location and the roads that access the cottages are very poor. I thought it was just me who struggled with the driving as I regularly had to reverse up the narrow dirt tracks that constitute roads in North Devon, but the man in the next cottage said the same. If you are not confident at driving and have a small car and value it, do not holiday here. I have damaged my car and almost burned my clutch out. I think the local authority in North Devon needs to widen their roads so at least cars can pass each other. Oh and don't expect the person coming towards you to back up cos 9 times out of 10 they wont. In fact in one instance 2 cars pulled over for me, only for the car behind them to force their way through and force me to stop. Awful. I would never go to North Devon again."

"Very clean and spacious cottage. Lovely touches such as cake, milk, tea and coffee as well as toilet rolls, soap in the bathroom, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, cloths, lots of essentials that you may forget to take with you! Not sure if these were left by other guests but it was great that they were there. The cottages are situated outside a tiny village down a narrow country lane. Probably a wide lane to locals but not for city folk! Also there is no phone signal at the cottages but a phone box on site and excellent WiFi so we just used WhatsApp and FaceTime. Great to have a dishwasher and washing machine with two young children and hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. Great base for the area as close to lots of family attractions as well as ilfracombe and woolacombe."

"The property is very well equipped and is comfortable and is very well appointed for small groups and families. The owners were very helpful when we contacted them to resolve a couple of minor issues with the TV and extra towels needed. The following are some issues that we had with the location which are beyond anything that the owners could about rectify. - The cottage is located up a very steep narrow road which may be difficult for some people with mobility issues. - The neighbourhood can become very noisy with loud music being played and loud arguments from some of the near properties. - Although the property is centrally located the nearest pubs are not very nice and you need to visit the harbour to find decent pubs and restaurants."
