"My boyfriend found this gorgeous Garden House on cottages for you after looking for a good price on a little cottage away from the hustle & bustle of London where we live. The booking was very easy & the drive was peaceful, it only took us an hour to get to. Upon arrival we realised that we had picked the right place for a quiet, romantic valentines weekend. Debbie the owner really had thought of everything in order to make our weekend a memorable stay. She had very kindly made us lemon drizzle cakes, laid a heart shaped box of chocolates on the bed & also provided us with love crackers. Debbie had even thought of entertainment for her guests & provided a box of CD's, DVDs, board games & books. S14089 is in her gorgeous garden which is landscaped beautifully. If you are looking for a quiet weekend away or for somewhere to stay close to the bars in Portsmouth S14089 is the place to stay. "

"The photos prepared us for a small garden house, but it is very cleverly furnished making maximum use of the space. Also, the decor ensures a most relaxing ambiance. You will be made to feel most welcome with a lovely garden in which to relax and a cup of tea with cake on arrival. The labradors were no trouble at all. We enjoyed the walking, particularly on the South Downs way and in the Queen Elizabeth country park. For cyclists there is path along the A3 from Clanfield into this park. There is good shopping within a few minutes walk and plenty of places to eat out although we enjoyed our evenings in; the kitchen is well equipped for a light meal for two. We really must return in the spring when the bluebells in the nearby ancient woodland must be a delight and another walk to visit the Sustainability Centre would be great. Sept 2011. "

"S14089 was a delight to stay in. We were looking for a quiet romantic break in beautiful surroundings & that is exactly what we got. The house is small but perfectly well equipped with everything you need. The house is very clean. We arrived after dark to find the lamps & fairy lights had already been put on for us. I thought this was a very nice touch as no-one enjoys walking into a dark house, especially after a long journey. I was concerned the house may be a little cold due to the time of year (Nov) however it was very cosy; we only needed the electric heater on at a low level, it felt very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet the owners during our stay, due to them being away themselves however; despite their absence we were made to feel very welcome by their teenage children. Would definitely recommend. Nov 2011. "

"What a lovely weekend break we had in this quaint cottage in the quiet town of Clanfield. Chose this place as I wanted to be close enough to Winchester, but didn't want to pay the premium of staying in the centre of Winchester, so this suited us perfectly. Everything in the cottage has been so well thought out, the kitchen has everything you need and the whole place in kept spotless. Lovely welcome gifts of a box of chocolates and cupcakes too! One thing we did miss (and have seen written in other reviews) is a hairdryer, but this really wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The cottage was well heated, and was not at all cold, perfect for a cosy winter break.Around a 30 minute drive to Winchester itself and a 15 minute to the very nice pub. All in all I would definitely recommend this cottage!"

"Very small, but very cosy cottage/studio. The kitchen is so small it fits only one person. However, it is well-equipped. The foldable chairs are not suitable for people with back problems like me. Next time I will ask for a suitable chair. I am sure the owners will help out. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom has a good shower. There is enough space in the studio for your belongings. We met one of the owners, Debbie, who is a very nice and helpful lady. The cottage/studio sits in a beautiful garden. The garden is wonderful to sit in and relax (if it's not raining!). Although it is small, we would visit the studio again, since it is not far from Portsmouth and other mayor cities."
