"We’ve just returned home after a week spent in this beautiful cottage. It’s hard to find any negatives if I’m honest! The location is brilliant, in historic Coalbrookdale literally two minutes walk from the River Severn and just a very short stroll to the Iron Bridge. The cottage has its own parking, a beautiful garden, great sized rooms and is amazingly well equipped. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It has central heating and a wood burning stove so it’s wonderfully warm and cosy, and is decorated perfectly in keeping. The local co op is two minutes walk away and is open late, and the Dale End Cafe is just next door and does a smashing breakfast and pizza! We will definitely be back for a return visit. Highly recommended cottage if you want to visit the area!"

"Clean and tidy very spacious and equipped with all your needs. Each bedroom had plenty of space and the downstairs living area ample of room for a large family and for children ( very carefully thought out with high chairs games books all niknaks etc) The location was quiet and pieceful with local cafes and shops a stone throw away the locals recommended many takeaways but we were there on a business trip so not able to try these out. The cottage is so close to the history of Iron Bridge so plenty to do I’m so pleased with my business trip I have penciled it in again for next year plus I’ll be going again in the summer to see the views in summer sun as they were spectacular in the autumn"

"The garden was a lovely aspect, and sitting on the patio each evening in the sunshine (we hit the hot week at the end of August) was divine. The quality of the furnishings was great, and the kitchen very well equipped. The only thing I would suggest for families or people staying in the winter months would be a TV package - I haven't been restricted to 5 channels for a long time! We were here in summer so out visiting the many beautiful places Shropshire has to offer, and walking to the great pubs with the dogs. However if it was a rainy day, or we were back early on a winter's evening we might want more of a choice. We will definitely book again sometime in the future."

"Really convenient for Blists Hill & all Ironbridge attractions. Kitchen had everything and good quality China & cutlery, though could do with a couple more flutes/wine glasses. Even had a smoothie maker and full range of baking kit! The only disappointment was lounge seating. The settee just about fitted 5 people and no other comfy seats. It was also really uncomfortable and very tired so we couldn’t all sit together as a party of 6 to enjoy the fabulous fire. Two of us sat at the dining table and although it didn’t spoil our weekend it is the reason I would give 4 stars and not 5"

"A beautiful bolt hole away from a busy life. 6 adults had a wonderful stay at the Temple. The grounds & building itself are quite exceptional. The property was spotlessly clean, with wonderfully comfortable furnishings & in contrast to the age of the property, there was all the modern equipment you could need but in a sympathetic way to the fabric of the building. We spent most of our time in the kitchen & fabulous orangery. The property manager was very helpful when we had a slight issue. Quite simply - fabulous & would highly recommend."
