What our customers are saying about our Group Accommodation Cottages In Hertfordshire To Rent.
Julie - verified booking
"Although the cottage is very clean and spacious, it is in definite need of upgrade. The shower (wet) room is very old and unappealing and the en suite bathroom upstairs lacks a shower cubicle or even a shower spray over the bath. With six women staying and no working locks on either of the bathroom doors, there were privacy issues. There were some things missing or broken, like the grill in the oven and there was no ceiling light shade in the shower room, which we felt was potentially dangerous in a wet environment. We did leave a note about these issues for the owners. It is a working farm in a rural area, so very quiet and peaceful, but make sure you take a fly spray as not surprisingly with livestock, there were loads."

"The cottage has huge potential but needs a lot of refurbishment to get it up to standard. Beds were clean but uncomfortable. There were only 6 usable dining chairs as 3 were dangerously broken. The lead to the dvd player was missing . There was mould and peeling paint in the bathrooms. The upstairs windows were dirty and ill fitting. The carpet was soiled. The cottage backs onto the farmyard of a beef farm with an open cattle shed directly behind the property so inevitably there were flies. There were holes in the plaster and unrepaired cracks. The location is great for Duxford, Wimpole Hall and Cambridge . There was plenty of kitchen equipment and constant hot water."

"We rented Owl and Kestrel for our large family gathering. The accommodation suited us very well, especially the spacious living area. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of saucepan, crockery and cutlery. No decent frying pan though!Just one shower was not really enough, but we managed. The location is very rural with no shop or pub in walking distance, but there are lots of woodland walks from the door, and Wimpole Hall ( a very interesting National Trust property ) is half an hour's walk across fields."

"We had an excellent few days at Kingshill Farm Cottage. It is very nicely furnished and was spotless. The cooking and eating provision was adequate, but not plentiful. The owners were happy to accommodate my grand children's guinea pigs, and our request to leave in the afternoon as no one was coming in that day. I would definitely recommend the cottage."

"The house is situated close to some great places to eat and drink, it is close to supermarkets. The hose is close to two tube stations which allows great access to the centre of London and the attraction there,The house itself is well kitted out with plenty of room for families, it is warm and comfortable."
