"WiFi did not work at all during my weeks stay which was very frustrating so if I had to work it would have been a greater problem.Kitchen equipment was obviously either not reported by previous guests or checked as the can opener was left in the draw broken. I left a note to this effect but it did prove a problem.Refuse- a BIG problem. I realise there are two weekly collections - not every week as it is used to be but when there is a changeover and the previous occupants leave the bins full to bursting, it means I had nowhere to put ANY rubbish other than deal with it by driving somewhere. This is not ideal on a daily basis whilst on holiday and 6 people generate a lot of refuse, Friday is collection day usually but it had not been emptied. Suggest housekeeper needs to make sure bins are empty if there is a weekly Let."

"The house was perfect for our family grouping of 3 adults and 4 children, Mary the housekeeper lives very close and is able to help with any questions you may have either about the house or the places of interest in the surrounding area. It may have been good to have had a bbq available. The house is in a very secluded area which would be great for those seeking peace and quiet. With our children we visited all the tourist spots but the road network and holiday traffic meant that journeys to Longleat, Peppa Pig World, Glastonbury etc all took much longer to reach than anticipated. All in all this is a beautiful house, but as a towny used to having everything on the doorstep if we came to this area again we would have to take the location into consideration to a greater degree."

"Excellent in every way. There were 6 of us. We enjoyed the home inside and outside with fantastic weather and a beautiful garden and patio attached to a quaint and cozy/comfy home. We used the kitchen as we would at home, making meals and baking scones and cakes.... Fully equipped kitchen. 6 of us there for 8 days made the washer and dryer a blessing too. It was essential to have a car out in the hamlet of Peasemore but what a delightful area. Village folk could not have been friendlier when we went for walks. Some showed us around the church, telling us the history, others directed us to the farm shop for fresh meats and vegetables... Good location to visit other places (Bath, Oxford, Newbury and more). We had an amazing holiday at The Old Post Office."

"We stayed at Manor Cottage with my daughter in the run up to and after her wedding in Marlborough. The cottage was the perfect property for this occasion. Chocolate box pretty, it felt like a very special place with lots of history and character. Quite spacious too. Enough room for our 5 bridesmaids to arrive on the morning and us all get ready together. The outside space was lovely and both inside and out provided us with some beautiful wedding photographs. Well equipped, we wanted for nothing and the friendly pub across the road was an added bonus. The village shop just round the corner was also very handy. We would all recommend Manor Cottage as the perfect countryside getaway for any occasion."

"We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage, such a peaceful place, if you want to just chill out, no shops just a quiet village with a lovely pub/restaurant this is the place. The cottage is in such a lovely spot. Across the road is the pub/restaurant, we ate there Saturday night and had Sunday lunch the next day. Lovely food. It does not open on Mondays, we had a visit into Salisbury, a look around the shops, lunch and then to the cathedral, a lovely day. The rest of the time it was just chilling in the cottage, we had tea in the garden, there is a barbecue. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage for a very chilling, peaceful weekend, we would definitely go again."
