What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Great Boughton To Rent.

"A very tired looking accommodation, initially seemed very sweet and homely. However when you looked a bit deeper broken light shades, light bulbs out in most of the rooms, insulation tape holding shower head up ,dirty bath, Curtains in the main bedroom didn't close had to use pegs, the plugs socket in bedrooms poorly placed, the fridge didn't keep cool and the freezer had broken drawers and over frosted. For 8 people another toilet would have been useful there is room for an on -suit off the main bedroom. We didn't think it was value for money it was all shabby and dated.Saying that our dogs loved being safe in the fenced in area and if the owners repaired and replaced items that are damaged we would go back. From the Davies Gang"

"This cottage was sweet and bijou, it was to small for us. Apart from the fridge, no cupboard to put food in. The cultery was in an open tray under the sink waste. The bed was very comfy, but hitting your head on the beams that were very low above the bed was no fun. Warning for dog owners there is no fenced in garden for you to let them out in. There is a large owners garden, must be on lead. Lucky it was not hot you could not reach downstairs windows to open, and having dogs you could not leave door open. We had problems with cooker, toilet flush, key, and TV, only the last day did it seem to get better and you didn't get the picture braking every five minutes. The area was lovely, and Loggerheads very near and dogs love it."

"This is a super place to stay, great location with so many local places to visit and explore. Woore has its own bakery, two pubs pretty much at the end of the drive. The property has been recently renovated and it is fabulous, quality modern furnishings, well equipped and spotless. We are a family of four but with three bedrooms, one on ground floor with down stairs loo, this is really flexible accommodation. We met the owners a couple of times as they live in the Manor House, they were very helpful and certainly wanted to ensure we had the best experience. We were delighted and would live to return to explore the area further."

"Excellent cottage in a lovely location. We spent a fantastic New Year here and everyone thought the cottage was great. Lovely and warm and cosy, bedrooms were excellent and the cleanliness excellent. The only negative comment we could possibly make is that the kitchen and dining room are a tad small when catering for 8 people. The kitchen could do with a large work top area to put plates on while dishing out etc, and the dining room was definitely a squeeze getting everyone around the table. But it certainly didn't spoil our holiday and we'd certainly consider coming again."

"Really enjoyed our time at the cottage, good location (went to Chester Zoo twice!) Owners friendly and approachable, allowed us to stay another night as there was no booking after us (for a fee)The only negative was the bed - it was so uncomfortable!! We had to lay on the quilts from the other bed just to make it bareable but even then it was not a very restful sleep! The sofa wasn’t that comfy either so made it difficult watching telly and trying to relax in the evening. If it wasn’t for these things it would have been a 10/10."
