What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Grange Over Sands To Rent.

"This was the best home we have ever rented! It didn't feel like a rental, that's why I'm referring to it as a home. So clean and well taken care of. Everything, and more was there for us when we arrived. Our host even went the extra mile, leaving us welcome gifts for Valentines Day, who does that? The hotel and restaurant were within a five minute walk through the woods. No cooking hurray! Excellent value for money. Ideally placed for touring the Lake District. Lovely to come home to at the end of a busy day, or to stay in all day, cosy and warm! I will certainly recommend this rental to everyone, and we will certainly be returning, only next time it will be for longer! Highly recommend, Six stars!!!"

"Everything I would expect of a Cumbrian cottage. So pretty and right beside a stream with picturesque bridges along the way. Baby ducklings were a treat to watch each morning and evening. Neighbours were friendly and welcomed visitors, it was ideal for any artist like myself. Close to rail and bus facilities so it was easy to get to surrounding resorts without the need to use my car. I welcomed the cottage being dog friendly and it was spotless on arrival and cleaned again midway between a 2 week stay. Well equipped with everything anyone could need and had pubs with good grub within walking distance. Overall a very enjoyable holiday that I would highly recommend."

"We had a great five days at S84266. The house is small but was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. Lynnette was a super host answering emails with questions in 30 mins or less every time. She helped us sort heating and the house was warm and cozy. We wish there was a clothes dryer to do laundry because you can get very muddy hiking in the lakes! Also water pressure in the shower and taps was quite low and if you used the taps in one part of the house the rest of the taps offer little to no pressure....but this isn’t really a big deal and we’d go back for sure for another stay."

"Fantastic cottage in a lovely location. The landlady had put in place the basics, grocery wise, that you need on your first evening/morning so that you didn't have to go straight out and buy things. Little touches like a bottle of wine and toiletries already in the amenities were appreciated. Plenty of towels available and lots of games, DVD's and information leaflets around. Extra heaters available as well as torches in the main entrance. All the beds were very comfy. All in all an excellent cottage and amenities."

"I would stay here again for the view alone. However there were a few niggles. WiFi was limited and only accessible standing in the hall, then we could very slowly download our newspaper. The shower was never more then a fast trickle. I would also agree with previous comments on the furniture. There as needs to be a better provision of matching glassware and crockery. But the view and location are super, and nothing beats sitting on the little balcony looking out over the water on a sunny evening"
