"We stayed at The S20604 in May 2017 with a group of family and friends and our three dogs. We have stayed in Crantock dozens of times but chose The S20604 this time to accommodate a large group to celebrate a wedding at St. Carantoc (the gorgeous, ancient and friendly Church nearby). Frankly, I almost don't want to review it because I want to keep it a secret. We booked for the same time next year on the day we left! The house is delightful and quirky. The beds are comfortable (immaculate linen), the kitchen well appointed, the bathrooms well fitted. I have no idea why previous reviewers moan about electricity costs - eleven of us, showering daily, running the washing machine and the dishwasher - etc. was something like £50 for the week - great value we thought. Downstairs has beams which left their mark on all the taller people in our party but that was a small price to pay for such a wealth of loveliness. The views of the sea from the (fully enclosed and beautiful garden) and from the sitting room and balconied bedroom are to die for. The dog friendly beaches on either side of the house are stunning, CBay's bistro across the road serves great food. Kids surfed, dogs chased waves, grannies admired the views and ate cream teas at The Cosy Nook in Crantock. From 85 to 24 all declared it 'paradise' and ...it is."

"Amazing house with a fantastic view. Our part size was 13 and a baby. As we expected, Electricity cost us about £90 for the Christmas week in December 2015 with quite mild temps outside but we had plenty of hot water, did plenty of cooking in the electric double oven and were all warm and cosy inside. The only reason for a 9 and not a 10 in terms of 'comfort and equipment' was that we would have loved an open, wood burning fire and more powerful Wifi reach, this would have made the S20604 absolutely perfect! The kitchen was easy to use by a lot of cooks and helpers and eaters at the same time! The ceiling on the ground floor dining room is extremely low so beware anybody over 5ft 8inches tall!We feel extremely lucky to have had the pleasure of staying in a very comfortable authentic old cornish house and thank the owners very much for sharing."

"The S20604 is located in a wonderful location. It has a great ocean view, it's within steps of a very good pub-restaurant with an extensive menu, and its central to most places one would want to visit in Cornwall. In addition, it provides easy access and its own good-sized parking area. It provides a variety of bedroom sizes and beds and its lounge is big and comfortable, all accommodating our group of 11 with big and little kids. The kitchen is well provisioned. It's only problem is the low ceilings on the ground floor and the low bridge door from the stairs to the lounge can be a head banging experience. We would definitely stay there again if we had a large group."

"The apartment is beautiful and very well maintained, clean and has everything you need for a home from home holiday. During the week we stayed there were unfortunately works being undertaken in the pool area and pool side apartment, which was noisy and given the weather was not great disturbed the tranquility if you wanted to just sit and read a book. I am unsure who was managing the project but it was concerning that the pool was not protected from dust at all and we felt unable to use it; this was disappointing and we feel we should have been told about the works in advance."

"This was just perfect for us. 7 of 10 of our guests were friends from Germany. They were so impressed often saying 'wow'. A generous house with charm and character. The kitchen is well equipped and well able to cope with cooking for a large number of people. The house gardens are really nice.A wonderful location for walks and proximity to some incredible coves. A splendid view from the lounge. On the last day we sat in the lounge and reflected on how much we would mis all this and miss the view. We would definitely consider come into back."
