What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Gardens In Woodbridge To Rent.

"The Barn at Vine Cottage is a lovely cottage with splendid bedroom and bathroom facilities. The owners were really welcoming and helpful before we went for the weekend and it was beautifully clean when we arrived with lots of extra touches to make our weekend stay special. The welcome basket of food in the kitchen was extremely generous and there were even toiletries in all the bathrooms which was a very extra special touch! The kitchen and lounge flow into one another so that it is really sociable for those cooking in the kitchen to still be able to chat easily to those in the lounge. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the lounge was really comfortable with lots of seating. The garden is absolutely huge so a great place for the dogs to exercise whilst we all sat at the large table on the decking area watching them. The cottage is actually in Otley which is a small village with an excellent shop and very dog friendly pub both within walking distance. In fact the only reason I haven't given the cottage an overwhelming 10 out of 10 is because the WiFi signal is rather intermittent depending on where you are in the house or which network you are using. We really liked the cottage and will be recommending it to all our friends and hopefully returning at some time in the future."

"A very disappointing stay. The cottage was very dismal and fusty downstairs especially. It was like staying in an elderly persons home where everything was dated, mismatched and well used with no attention to detail. On the whole it appeared clean but there were areas that needed attention, for example the cutlery drawer could have done with a clean and the wooden spatulas were very used and needed replacing to name but a few. I did not like the open staircase particularly having a young child with us. The beds were horrendous and very hard and uncomfortable so much so that it affected my back and joints which are problematic to myself and I returned home feeling quite unwell not having been able to get a comfortable nights sleep...this was also a problem for the other adult. The only time we used the tv for an hour the adjoining neighbour started hammering on the wall. Parking outside the property was a very minimal space and not suitable for a large vehicle and after being blocked in by the neighbour I parked on the road for 2 nights. All in all compared to other self catering accommodation I have had this has to be the worst value for money and comfort that I have experienced."

"The charm and attraction of the cottage exterior is match once you get inside. This is obviously used by the owner's family and the warmth and comfort which comes from regular, family use was clear. The family history and sentiment oozes throughout the cottage, which only adds to the delight in staying there.Being able to make use of "Grandma's Pantry" was a genuine pleasure. The furniture, open fire and "wonky" floors just added to what was a perfect post-Christmas and New Year get away, to seclusion and relaxation. The kitchen was very well equipped for two experienced and enthusiastic home cooks, who made the most of local produce, especially from Revetts butcher in nearby Wickham Market .The cottage owner was very friendly, helpful and clearly has a passion for a family heritage, which is generously shared with cottage guests. The cottage and location is a definite must for a return visit."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Barn. It is a very nice and well equipped property with plenty of space both indoors and in the garden so it was ideal for our family group that included five adults, one young child and a dog. Otley is a pretty village and has a nice shop and a real country pub serving good food. The surrounding area is lovely and there are plenty of things to do. Woodbridge nearby and Aldeburgh a little further away are both well worth a visit. We would highly recommend a holiday in this lovely part of Suffolk, one of England's most beautiful counties, and a stay at the Barn in particular."

"The cottage was perfect for a quiet getaway. The cottage itself was furnished in a charmingly quirky way, you could not fault it. Every need was met. The location suited us perfectly, as we love history and there is so much to do. The nearby town of Woodbridge is both bustling yet serene. I would absolutely recommend it for a relaxing break. The only negatives we found, were really poor Wi-Fi, and no pub in easy walking distance. However even these did not diminish our enjoyment of the cottage or the area."
