"We came in the back door via the conservatory this had 2 barrel chairs and 2 director chairs not really comfortable for sitting in during an evening to watch the night come in. We moved into the well stocked kitchen that had all the items necessary to prepare a meal. It has a large table and a sofa, can only think it ha the scruffy covers to protect it but still curious as gives the impression of tatty. Again nowhere comfortable to sit, 2 on the sofa and the others on the dining chairs. Upstairs we had the lounge, should have taken some dvds to watch but even that would not have been in comfort as there was just the sofa bed and again 2 barrel chairs. The top floor had the bedrooms one with en-suite and a wardrobe the other had a hanging rail, but the beds as previous guests have said did not afford comfort. Shame the hosts have not thought about the necessary requirement for holiday makers and that is always comfort, especially after a day visiting all the fantastic sites around. They have an ideal little place that is well stocked and well situated, just lacks comfort."

"Good cottage, very clean, excellent shower, comfy beds, two chairs in lounge could have been comfier but Ok for short periods. Problem with the fridge/freezer, the fridge part apparently not working and only just kept cool by the freezer below. Brought to the attention of the owner who was unable to get an engineer out until the day we left. The other issue is the fire alarm in the kitchen is so sensitive that every time you open the oven door the fire alarm goes off. The solution is to take or buy a cheap shower cap to put over he alarm when cooking. Remember though to remove it afterwards!Handy location for several counties and the main section of the Cotswolds."

"Looks nice on outside, but car parking not idea, as roads are narrows with buses going around cottage. On entering the cottage it is cosy, on making a drink the kettle was in a bad condition as was the oven ware, we purchased a new kettle and oven dish. On going upstairs, the floor on landing and bathroom was very uneven, in the bedroom we have to duck as very low doorway and when leaving the room we put our hand on the top of the door frame to protect ourselves and found a nail was sticking out which could have been dangerous in the end we left before the week was up."

"I recently stayed with my family over the Cristmas break. The cottage it’s self is absolutely gorgeous and just what we were looking for. The only downside was the beds, we spent the first night bed hoping, to see which was more comfortable. Out of the 6 adults who stayed, we all agreed the beds where terrible, rock hard and so low. My Fiancé ended up purchasing 2 double blow up beds with 2 others making do with the pull out bed in the lounge. As long as you doing mind sleeping on a rock as a mattress or taking your own bed, then this is the perfect getaway cottage."

"We enjoyed a relaxing few days at S81032. Mike was very welcoming. The cottage was clean and tidy and contained all the equipment we needed (although a hairdryer would have been nice). As per the other reviews the pub in the village has closed but there are others just a short drive away (plus takeaways). The cottage has a patio outside with a table and chairs which was lovely to sit and eat at whilst enjoying the views. The use of the WiFi for free was also a nice bonus for us. We had a lovely few days away and hope to return in the future."
