What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Gardens In Cambridgeshire To Rent.

"The bungalow was well equipped and comfortable, although for me at 75 years old the sofa was a little low and a bit of a struggle to get out of! However there were cushions available to boost the sitting height and we enjoyed our stay at S26129 and would return. Not much in the way of leaflets for places to visit. Would recommend getting to the horse gallops at Newmarket around 7am then going into town for a full English breakfast around 9am! NT places worth a visit as is the Nene Valley Railway if you like steam trains, not open everyday. Cambridge itself disappointing, expensive to park. Go early to the Park and Ride our nearest was full by 11am. On a rainy day you should visit Duxford Museum especially if you are into aircraft."

"We started our holiday the week commencing the 23rd of feb, on arrival to the park we was greeted by a very helpful manager who showed us to our lodge. The lodge was very warm and very clean, we had everything we needed for the duration of our stay. The hottub was a nice add on for the week but unfortuantly i couldnt use it due to being pregnant but hope to come back in the near future. I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a romantic or relaxing break, we took our 5 year old son who enjoyed himself and did not get bored. Thanks for a great stay hope to be back shortly! Shame we had to go home a day early due to the "beast from the east" snow"

"The first few days the wind came from the east and it was snowing. The heating in the cottage was not able to deal with this kind of weather. The beds are small and not too convenient, so my wife decided to sleep a few nights on the couch. She loved the hot tub even in the cold weather and used it mornings and evenings. It is a nice and quiet area with a lot of places to visit and see.Cleanliness scored low because there were things lying under the beds that other visitors left behind. (empty bottle, roll of candy)Kitchen had all the things you need to cook and eat.So overall it was a nice little break to explore this area of the UK."

"S26129 offers good value for money, the bungalow is warm, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners were in contact in plenty of time ahead of our stay. The village of Teversham is very close to Cambridge however there is no public transport, no pub nor a shop so a car is needed (although the wonderful Tamarind curry house is just opposite). Alternatively if you are only looking to explore Cambridge itself then it is an easy cycle along the extensive cycle path network to the city and rail station. Our only criticism is that the beds are small and the mattresses old, worn and uncomfortable, sadly this really affected our sleep."

"We enjoyed our stay at Acorn, we saw it was smaller than we were used to in the pictures and this was the case. The owners were pleasant and friendly and the cottage was mostly well equipped. The wi-fi signal was good but the bedroom was upstairs and the toilet downstairs, the living room also shared the same space as the kitchen. The location of the cottage is very good for visiting the local attractions and the town has several food outlets and a large Morrisons close by, avoid the local pub as it is noisy and brash. The town has lots of local walks in a surprising amount of countryside."
