"The arrival was excellent the owner was waiting for us with fresh beer and a bottle of wine. Then he asked in addition to the deposit that was indicated in advance an extra deposit by credit card data with the argument that this happened more often in the area because of the Russians ... I refused this and that was finally accepted. The experiences with the entire complex is actually not ok the price-quality ratio is complete looking, not something we had expected from Belvilla due to previous positive experiences. Kitchen Large oven broken. No workspace. Stove, sink, workplace much too low for average Dutch person. Nespresso machine does not work properly Dishwasher does not work (does not come on temperature, so dirty dishes and wet), but there was a new dishwasher brought, unfortunately, it functioned not (according to the instructions too little water pressure), with the result that we have the whole holiday have washing up! Bedroom upstairs reach via a steep staircase without a handrail. Toilet continues continuously. Shower is too low for an average Dutch person and the door of the shower can not close properlyJe can not walk upright i.v. with low ceiling and beams There is no WIFI range, but an airco.Large bedroom downside Unlike the description of the villa on the site of BelVilla which states that the ground floor air conditioning should have is not the case in the bedrooms but only in the living room. According to the owner, the opening of the windows and terrace doors was sufficient. However, there was no breeze to get inside but the local cats came in (have pooped in the bathroom!). In addition, there were no mosquito screens so we were completely punctured by the mosquitoes, these were abundant ... Here too no WIFIKleine bedroom downside Unlike the description of the villa on the BelVilla site which states that the ground floor should have air conditioning this is not the case in the small bedroom. Also, hey"

"Pros +++ Nice, large and quiet garden and terrain around the house. +++ Typical French very cozy cottage and decor. +++ Daily many squirrels in the garden and in the distance cows, which the kids really liked. +++ A very good trampoline in the garden. +++ In the attic Next to 2 smaller bedrooms a huge room, where we were able to sleep with a whole family of 5 with all of them very relaxed. Really spacious, delicious! Negatives --- There were fleas or bedbugs in one of the bedrooms, there did not sleep, really scandalous! --- The stairs are REALLY very dangerous! N.a. Other reviews I still thought "that's true" but no, that's really not the case! The smallest difference between steps is not yet 15 cm, the biggest difference is more than 40 cm and the distances change completely randomly. Particularly, there is also no trailing and low light, it really makes a dangerous staircase .--- With all low unprotected power sockets, a completely non-functioning and slow staircase "fence", this is NOT child-friendly for small Children .--- All play equipment in the garden (on 1 very good trampoline after) completely broken of rust, absolutely not usable !! And the "sandbox" was no longer there (we did not miss it, but it was called as if it were, and that's not the way) .- The locks of the outside doors worked very hard .--- On the first floor the toilet door barely did not work .--- A little bit of detail above the dining table hangs the impossible "imaginable" lamp, which you gossip every time when you get up. Furthermore, there was no teapot, so take it yourself. It was not cleaned well in the house. Conclusion Despite some significant downsides, I would like to go again (as the fleas are gone) in terms of atmosphere! I really liked it as a very cozy cottage and wonderfully peaceful environment."

"We were 6 adults and a small child in the Christmas week 2008 in this house. It is very atmospheric and the photo "s on the Internet are representative. A lovely house to sit to rest and relax. Especially the fireplace is a blessing and create atmosphere. The house is fully equipped. When 8 people would book this house, there is only a shortage of good seats. The sofa and armchairs where you enjoy sitting for 4 persons. The house is quite donker.Aan good lighting (for example, to read) is lacking. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is full of kitchen equipment and crockery. Small downside: no space for your messages to store. Internet works but not wireless (bring long network cable along). Indeed: not reach the phone (can be tricky but it is also very quiet .. lekkeer) The area itself is beautiful but there is not much to do unless you like walking / cycling. The villages in the area are pretty bleak. The larger towns, such as st Quentin , Valenciennes, Laon and Reims are well worth the effort. We had a great time. starting point was: just do nothing and relax and that worked. recommendation for quietness so! Fam Diepeveen-Perridon, Rotterdam"

"In mid-December 2012 we started looking for a holiday location where the dog was also welcome. Through the site Belvilla arrived soon contact Le Cacot. The period was free, the knot was quickly cut. Then countdown till August 10, 2013, car cluttering, set GPS and leave for Lavoine. After a smooth ride, we arrived shortly after noon. Admittedly, a few hours early, luckily Hans present, we were very warmly received. The gite was finished, our early arrival was no problem. The tour started at the beautiful pool, this would be a welcome refreshment point for the entire holiday. Although you share the pool with the adjoining cottage, you will not notice. The pool is big enough, and when everyone is together in the pool? The kids liked it that there is also a trampoline was.De gite nice outside terrace, cozy, spacious, practical, clean and very comfortable. Slept well anyway. Hans and Anita are the perfect hosts. Quiet, warm and always approachable. The area is extremely beautiful vistas, an area of u200bu200b3.5 hectares and a small lake. Nature is beautiful, ideal for walking, cycling and mountain bike to practice. It was a wonderful holiday, sc"

"We had a great time relaxing at Rabouillere 1. The house and surroundings make you relax instantly, away from the hustle and bustle. Still big supermarkets and macDonalds are within driving distance. The nearby villages are tiny, friendly and very French, mostly residential (some lovely churches!), whereas the towns have terraces and shops. The house is big and feeling grand, and does have wifi. The garden is a real joy, it feels like you are in a park. Nice big trampolines. We have 2 children, 2 and 3, so safety was important. For the most part the garden is indeed fenced off, though on the other side of Rabouillere 2 there are possibilities for the children to "escape", but in reality that is not a real concern, it is simply too far away for them to go there. The house would be great for up to 3 couples with 2 babies and 4 children, but suited us fine too (2 adults with 2 toddlers). We had a great BBQ, and we took a paddling pool with us, which was a good move, considering the hot weather we had. We had several electrical storms at night, which were fascinating to watch, and it was nice to sit under the roof of the patio and see the rain."
