"Although we had a lovely holiday, the accomodation was disappointing. Cleanliness was not up to scratch, lots of dust, dirty cutlery and cooking pans. The veranda chairs were very uncomfortable, so much so that I went out and bought large cushions so that we could enjoy the outside. Bed linens need updating, as do the towels, which were like sandpaper. In the lounge you could not sit comfortably and watch TV, due to the arrangement of the furniture. Whilst I watch very little TV when on holiday it is nice to have the option. The upstairs bedroom has no furniture, apart from the bed, no bedside light you can read by. There are lights in recesses either side of the bed but they are not practical. The kitchen equipment is sparse, the kettle and the toaster difficult to keep switched on and need replacing. For the cost of this rental I felt really let down. I stayed in a property in Norfolk in April and it was wonderful....chalk and cheese. I expect properties booked through the same company, would have the same standards whatever country they were in."

"This was a family holiday, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting too much, for the money I had paid. It certainly surpassed all of our expectations. The accommodation was just perfect, lots of room and well equipped. It was in a great location for everything, the coast, le touquet just 20 minutes away. (Beautiful) The kids loved the space and the fact that they had their own playground. Nobody spoke English, which was great, it made us all try to speak French, with much mutual hilarity... The hosts were fantastic, even offered us a ride out on the horse and cart. The kids loved that, all getting a turn on the reins. I can't fault this place. I'm considering going back in the summer, and I never ever go back to the same place twice."

"We were delighted with our week at Dolus le Sec. The house felt like a home and was very user friendly. It was beautifully clean, well equipped and very tastefully presented. A haven from hustle and bustle of everyday life. We had a warm welcome from the owners daughters, excellent English which always helps, who acquainted us with house, facilities and amenities. We were a group of three generations and all of us were very comfortable and well provided for. There were a selection of toys for the children and the grounds were safe for them to explore. The drive into Loches for supplies was never a chore as the run is beautiful and town and it’s amenities are excellent. All in all we loved the “whole package”."

"We had a lovely holiday here in July and the first part of August although it was boiling outside! The house is lovely and cool inside although the back bedrooms do get the sun in the afternoon. The pool and gardens are absolutely lovely at this property. You can just relax and let time drift by .... my children loved seeing the goats pass by the house on the days when they go up to the field up the lane past the house. We followed them back to the goat farm one afternoon when they were coming back down the hill and watched them being milked. It was a lovely experience! This is a rustic location which was exactly what we wanted in order to truly rela . Lovely and would definitely go again."

"Lovely cottage in a quiet location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners are friendly and give you all the information you need. They give you plenty of privacy to enjoy your holiday once they have shown you around. It is useful to learn a little French as people in the rural south generally don’t speak much English. It was very hot while we were there; the shutters, tiled floors and air conditioning kept the cottage lovely and cool. There is a small supermarket next to the tourist information in St Remy. There is also an Aldi and Intermarche just out of the centre. Provence is beautiful and we will definitely be back one day."
