"Our third stay at Stable Cottage so you might expect a positive review and you'd be right. A very enjoyable visit to our home from home (except this is nicer than home). A warm welcome from the owners and everything we need in a dog friendly cottage. Conveniently located near Driffield so access to pubs, restaurants, supermarket etc. Beverley is only 10 miles down the road too and York just 40 minutes away. For us though, the main benefit is the proximity to Yorkshire's dog friendly east coast. The beach and café at Fraisthorpe is highly recommended. We've been to the cottage in the summer months before so it was interesting to visit in colder weather. The chalk stream at the back was in full flow with plenty of wildlife to look out for. The log burner was used a couple of times and added to the cosiness of the cottage.10 out of 10 (local amenity score would be 10 if the village pub was open). Will definitely visit again."

"As a builder and landscaper, i have not had a break away for over 14 years, and i can say that i have never been so relaxed in such a impressive and well thought out dwelling,I have to say the area is of lovely surroundings and plenty of recreation a drive away. But i went for a recharge,....The exterior is wonderful along with the interior as well, Pictures do not do it justice i can promise you that,....The Interior is very well thought out and is well over the footprint you would expect for the price payed....Furnishings are of a high range end, beds very comfy, and the overall layout is 2nd to none,The place was spotless, fresh, and just ….well book and see, you will need transport i.e. car,...but if you just want to relax and forget the rat race then this place is a definite must.I have to say a Huge Thankyou To them both, so welcoming and part way through our stay asked that everything was ok,...…Thanks very muchFrank & Gail"

"We had a lovely, relaxing holiday. S80437 is truly in a beautiful location, set in a tremendous part of Yorkshire’s countryside all laid out in the views from the downstairs windows.Milo the pony and Goat the goat are either by the gate to welcome you or hanging their shiny, chestnut head over the garden gate to say hello.Comfortable beds and lovely, warm radiators on cooler end of September evenings makes S80437 a good choice when staying out of season. The only reason I didn’t award it as 10 overall was the lack of a shower cubicle or proper shower fitment over the bath. We did enjoy Mullins though, very much. A friendly congregation at nearby St. Thomas’ in Gristhorpe also added to a feeling of being made very welcome during our holiday.Kate, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful, thank you."

"It makes a nice change to find that the photos for the property are exactly what you get. It's in a beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean. It was very peaceful and everything you would want for a luxury relaxing break from everyday life. An added bonus was all the animals nearby. The owners have horses, a pot bellied pig, chickens and a goat, whilst we also saw hares and deer in the surrounding fields. The nearby Ox pub sells really excellent food with huge portions whilst for something more special the Copper Horse in nearby Seamer is a superb gastro pub of the highest order. The owners of S80462 were very helpful and discreet. Overall this cottage is perfect."

"Cottage is part of a very well converted barn, with a lot of top of the range equipment.Very peaceful and pleasant location though nothing was within easy walking distance, i.e. shop, pub etc. The furniture in the lounge though inkeeping with the building could have been better - 1 long settee that had seen better days and 2 easy chairs. 2 settees would be better and more comfortable. The bathroom, again looks really good, but with no separate shower or shower curtain not ideal as water gets everywhere, and not everyone would be able to get in and out of the deep bath easily. The bedrooms were well furnished and very comfortable."
