"Cottage is in a quiet, off road location, yet only three minutes' drive from nearest village, where there is a decent pub (The Crown), and ten minutes' drive from Prestatyn. There are stables and horses on site, and the owners have a friendly though large dog, and cat. We received a warm welcome with milk and a lovely cake provided, and chat when we passed throughout the week. The cottage is quite spread out and felt a bit big initially for us as a couple, but we soon got used to this! The cottage does sleep four and would be plenty big enough for this size group. There is a large garden, which we didn't use but would be great for a family in the summer. It was always warm when we came in at night - great on the days it was chillier.Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Toilet did smell a bit (this may have been the septic tank) and there were one or two cobwebs. The shower floor is quite thin and moves when you are in it, and the bathroom would benefit from an extra towel rail - it didn't feel as if there was quite enough towel space for the two of us (and I think this would be more the case with four). But these are minor things, and we really enjoyed our stay and our week."

"This cottage was sweet and bijou, it was to small for us. Apart from the fridge, no cupboard to put food in. The cultery was in an open tray under the sink waste. The bed was very comfy, but hitting your head on the beams that were very low above the bed was no fun. Warning for dog owners there is no fenced in garden for you to let them out in. There is a large owners garden, must be on lead. Lucky it was not hot you could not reach downstairs windows to open, and having dogs you could not leave door open. We had problems with cooker, toilet flush, key, and TV, only the last day did it seem to get better and you didn't get the picture braking every five minutes. The area was lovely, and Loggerheads very near and dogs love it."

"This wondeful little cottage is ideally situated for either a quiet escape from everyday world, or a holiday cottage near enough to explore many of North Wales tourist attractions. We spent a wonderful week there welcomed by Joyce and Alan, we really wanted to have a relaxing time ad must say it was just what the doctor ordered. Cottage fully equipped and homely. Set in a really pretty garden with ducks in the pond. Dogs welcome and I must say our beagle Jessie really enjoyed exploring the garden and surrounding areas. Will go back again. in the future."

"A really lovely bijou cottage situated in a beautiful part of the country. The accommodation was exceptional and provided that solitude that you sometimes need to recharge your batteries. It is very close to the North Wales coast, Snowdonia and Anglesey, and proved to be an outstanding base for our week away. There is a real babbling brook at the bottom of the garden, and the wildlife on the bird feeders kept me happy for an hour or two each day. We would unhesitatingly recommend the cottage to other prospective holiday makers."

"This cottage was everything we hoped for and more. Booking was easy, the owners of the cottage emailed immediately to advise on key collection and to give us any other information we may need. The cottage far exceeded our expectations in every respect. Lovely and quiet, the owners were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. We were amazed by the lovely little touches. There was milk, wine, a cake, eggs and fudge to indulge in when we arrived! We will definitely consider going back. Thank you!"
