What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Fareham To Rent.

"The cottage is very well located close to the local shops and pubs - 10 mins slow walk to main square. I was big enough for the 9 of us without us all tripping over each other. Plenty of garden space to get out and enjoy the weather. The cottage is well equiped, a little tierd in places but that in no way detracted from our enjoyment. There is a couple of really steep stairs from the kitchen to the dinning area - which have baby gates on but could possibly do with a hand rail to assit elderly people. Situated on the main road you would imagine a bit more traffic noise - however it was very quiet - particularly as we used the back space more. I would definalty recommend the property and use it again."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage it was superbly equipped with everything you needed for a self catering stay, a home from home. As a family of five there was plenty of room and the three bathrooms was an asset when all getting ready for a visit to the excellent Horse and Jockey Pub just two minutes up the road (a very busy road I add so be careful) we would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. It is well situated for Portsmouth Historical Dockyard and all that goes with it and also Gun wharf shopping centre brilliant!! Bournemouth just 45min away if you want the beach. Plenty of shops near by for stocking up on groceries."

"It was very warm and we struggled to keep it cool, even turning the thermostat right down. We also found the hot water in the shower ran out quite quickly - there wasn’t enough for two showers in a row. Other than that we thought it was ideal. The honesty tuck box was a lovely touch! We didn’t use the gym but did use the pool. It’s fair to say it’s a little tired, but was fine for a few lengths and a quick sauna! Although there’s not much to do in the immediate vicinity, there’s quick access to Portsmouth, Southampton and the New Forest, as well as Bournemouth and Winchester a little further afield."

"Lovely accommodation which gave us everything we wanted and needed. Our son was married in nearby Bishop's Waltham on Saturday and we used the chapel as our base in the area, accommodating groom, best man, ushers and even a musician in the build-up to the big event. Plenty of space for us to socialise and chill out. It's a shame the road is so busy and narrow as it makes getting to the nearby pub and riverside walk a bit precarious. Nearly Botley Railway Station was a God send as our guests arrived and departed and also for our day out to Portsmouth Historic Harbour."

"What a wonderful location to stay in, the owners had thought of everything, they provided washing and cleaning detergents and spices in the kitchen. Good location for visiting many area’s, the only thing (if i had to pick a point was) that one side of it was on a busy back road, so not suitable for children and old people to walk out of the property. The back garden was fully enclosed and we were provided with a bar-b-que and lovely views with lots of wild life to view, it was a relaxing welcome break and we would visit again. March 2012."
