What our customers are saying about our Family Cottages In South East To Rent.

"We really enjoyed staying at the cottage in March 2018. It is a very warm and cosy cottage with a very efficient log fire, comfy beds, all mod cons, Sky TV etc, and is dog-friendly so they can come me too! The parking place is right outside the row of 3 cottages in total, in front of the garage. Compton is a very pretty South Downs village with a local pub that is not very pretty inside but does great food. There are numerous local rural walks starting right outside, but we ventured a bit further afield and visited Chichester, Arundel, Brighton, the beaches at the Witterings (East and West) and the Roman palace at Fishbourne, which is fascinating - be sure to take the behind-the-scenes tour if you can."

"Perfect spot for festival and in a lovely setting by the marina. All you need in house but found it wasn’t clean enough we had to have a clean up a bit when we arrived. The bedside lamps thick with dust/ dirt and just little things that let it down like that. And dead flies on window sills. Needs a bit more tlc! The kitchen has paper towels covering the smoke alarm which cannot be right. On positives was well equipped with all you would need and the beds although the mattress was smaller than the frame on master bedroom (and the bruises show ) was Comfy ."

"The property and location was fine. Layout of property was not good as lounge was downstairs and 2 lots of stairs is not good for pensioners. Property needed some attention, for example lights NOT fixed properly to the ceiling, could not see carbon monoxide gadget - ok for smoke alarm. Heating was in place and working but had to turn it OFF as weather was very warm. No shops nearby. Pub was good and very near by - good food. Garden overgrown and patio full of weeds"

"The place was very grubby. Dishwasher we didn't use as it was dirty. There were stains on the sheets. Cushion on the chair had to turn over as it was stained. The cooker light is cracked and only one half of it works. The bathroom had grime on the skirting boards. The place was smelt of damp when we arrived. We turned up all the heating, which helped. Alien for money is terrible. We have stayed at a lot better places. We would not recommend this to a worst enemies."

"We loved our stay at Henley Bridge. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. The cottage was beautiful and the beds were very good. We enjoyed the rural location and the birds in the garden. It was nice and calm. We saw plenty of bluebells and there are a lot of interesting places to visit in the neighbourhood like the Abbey of Battle, Bodiam Castle, Pevensey Beach and there are good farmshops and a good Inn."
