"We have just enjoyed a fabulous week in this luxurious villa. It was wonderful to wake up each morning to views towards the village of Chateauneuf in the distance and hear nothing but the sounds of birds and insects. The villa is very well equipped and designed with attention to detail. There are a variety of comfortable outdoor seating areas to choose from and the pizza oven was a huge success. The pool is large and salt water (no nasty chlorine) and sun loungers very comfortable with two huge sun parasols. Everything was so great that it was difficult to tear ourselves away. When we did, we enjoyed several visits to Valbonne (approx 15 minute car journey) to eat and wander round the Friday market. We did the walk from Le Bar-sur-Loup to Gourdon which has stunning views but was hard work in the July heat. Michelle (owner) was really helpful providing restaurant recommendations and very responsive if we had any queries during the week. Our only disappointment was that there are no restaurants or cafes in Chateauneuf itself. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa - it lived up to our expectations and more!"

"We were an extended family of 10 who spent an idyllic week in August at this beautiful property. Le Mas de Saint Paul was everything that the property description said it would be -bright, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, with a beautiful pool, tennis court and grounds as well as a number of different outdoor living areas. We made use of every nook and cranny! The bathrooms and kitchens are renovated and everybody was comfortable. We didn't even use all of the bedrooms! The owners clearly do their best to make visitors comfortable by leaving helpful tips, tennis rackets, beach towels, and other similar conveniences. The location cannot be beat. It is a short walk to St. Paul de Vence and the Maeght Foundation, and an easy drive to beautiful hillside villages or to the beaches on the coast. And the house itself is on a large enough property and far enough from the main road that when you are here you feel like you are in a private and secluded space. This property met all of our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it. Thank you Anabel!"

"We enjoyed the most relaxing and peaceful holiday at this villa in a delightful part of France. On arrival we received the warmest of welcomes from the owner to a very well considered and comfortable family home which was nothing less than stunning and this theme continued for the duration of our stay. An excellently constructed information guide provided us with all we needed to know and more, including contact details for the friendliest and most reliable taxi service we have ever used. We visited a selection of the restaurants recommended and were never disappointed, but we especially enjoyed the Auberge Provencale in Valbonne. The highlight of this glorious property is undoubtedly the outside space which includes a gas BBQ that doesn't require the purchase of gas bottles, a pizza oven, large pool and lounger area and, an amazing garden. To laze around the pool surrounded by the scents of Rosemary, Lavender and Thyme was a unique experience for us and one we shall definitely return to."

"Arriving at the villa literally felt like stepping into heaven. My family and I went for a two-week stay past June. We had the perfect environment: sunny, breezy & surrounded by the smell of rosemary and jasmines. The house is large, comfortable & has all the appliances and comforts you might need to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing stay in Provence. Homy yet elegant decor, the house is very comfortable but we specially appreciated the various outdoor spots to enjoy sun or shade all around the fort and in the garden. The superb pool still was the main hanging out spot, especially with the pool house allowing to have meals there. The polygons rivera mall , which is a short 8 minutes away allows all the shopping and supermarket options necessary. (as well as a wonderful, enormous, shopping selection and a casino for players ). We appreciated the natural air circulation in the house and rooms, which almost made the air-con un-necessary! 100% recommended. Will definitely return."

"This 11th century Templar fortress, set in the plunging foothills of the Alps, by the side of a lake, and with great views of the country all around, has been renovated to a very high level of comfort, with three self-catering apartments. We stayed in the middle-size apartment (the Saint Pierre) which includes two big bedrooms and bathrooms, plus extra sofabeds in the living-room, a well-appointed kitchen and everything you need to make yourself comnfortable. Despite some bad weather, we found the place very cosy and when it cleared up, the surroundings were really interesting to explore, with fantastic walks, and lots of good side-trips. There's also, for those who like it, the possibilitity of doing kayaking, para-gliding, etc. The village near the castle (st Andre des Alpes is very good for everything you need, with an excellent butcher, fruit and vegs, cake and bread shops, a small supermarket, and restaurants, as well as all services."
