What our customers are saying about our Family Cottages In England To Rent.

"We had stayed in this cottage before, with a two-year-old and twelve-year-old and really enjoyed our holiday there. This time we were very disappointed that the use of the garage has been withdrawn, especially as it was listed in the property description when we booked and also on the instructions for access, which were sent a short time before we left for our holiday. We would not have booked if we had known we would have parking problems. On a positive note, the cottage is nicely decorated, with great facilities. The kitchen is really well equipped, there are also a washing machine, dryer and freezer. The decor is rather tired and the double bed was the most uncomfortable we have encountered anywhere - a new mattress would be great (not a hard one), but the other beds were very comfortable. Overall, the cottage is really very nice and worth booking, especially if you have no vehicle to worry about, or it's out of the main season, so that parking would be much easier."

"The cottage is located in quiet countryside with many walks through the estate. The wildlife is impressive, including a barn owl which hunted in the next field and a Kestrel which hovered over the garden. The cottage is quirky and rustic but with a , well appointed kitchen, bright dinning area and comfortable lounge. The downstairs bathroom is a bonus. The garden is sheltered by mature trees, but open to the sun for most of the day.The tea room at the main house is excellent and there is access to shops a short drive away.A car is essential but gives access to most of Norfolk. The park and ride from the edge of Norwich provides an excellent service to the city.Thank you for a relaxing stay."

"The cottage is equipped to a very high standard with very tasteful decor and furnishing. One small criticism, the cutlery does not fit in the dishwasher basket unless you take the lid off! More seriously, the doorway from sitting room to patio has a surprisingly low lintel which my companion who is not particularly tall cracked her head on very painfully. Perhaps a little warning notice would not spoil the look of the room? One final comment: the property is described as being in Dorset but North Perrott, we discovered, is in South Somerset!!Despite the above comments it is definitely a five star property."

"A very enjoyable week in Wells-Next-The-Sea.However we do feel that S17646 is in need of attention especially where cleanliness is concerned, the kitchen in particular. The bin could do with a good clean also the oven is very greasy and grubby as were the kitchen units, grubby and a bit smelly inside. The bathroom needs cleaning behind the toilet especially the pipe in the corner as it has black mould on it.A new toilet seat would be a good idea too.Having said that the rest of the cottage was fine and we enjoyed our stay."

"Tony popped in on the first day, we were still reading through the do's and don'ts book. Told him there were no coasters he said Hilary was away. The heating was all over the place, bathroom underfloor on 24hrs + the electric rad was also on, which we did switch off. Thankfully the underfloor heating was off in the bedroom but the central heating did not come on until we turned it up on the last day. We did speak to a man who said he would tell Tony who we eventually spoke to and he turned off the underfloor heating."
