"Hiwe recently stayed at The Steadings, the location is good very central to access all the tourist destinations and the coast, however it is rural so no local shop etc but you would realise that before you book, your only 5mins away from Alnwick in the car.The cottage is lovely and clean and has a great little garden at the front with seating areas so you can while away a few hours sat out here weather permitting! There is no WiFI which was a welcome break for me although my son did miss being able to connect, and it would be useful to research the area whilst you are there. The cottage itself is very comfortable, and we all had a good nights sleep in the comfortable beds, however there is some road noise which was an issue for my elderly dad.Overall a very enjoyable stay"

"We had a enjoyable stay at Alnwick Loft the accommodation was ideal for what we wanted. It is in a good location for Alnwick & the surrounding areas. There was always hot water & we were plenty warm enough & never had to do a heating boost. Furniture etc really nice. Instruction booklet for hob was missing but we eventually got the hang of it!Wasn't keen on the way into the property & the hallway seemed a little damp. Could do with some sort of extractor in the bathroom. Don't want to be negative as I know things aren't always easy to remedy. Outside rubbish bin was an issue, full when we got there it wasn't general waste collection week so we had no option but to leave the rubbish next to the kitchen bin. Didn't like doing this but wheelie bin was rammed."

"Couldn't of wished for a more beautiful cottage only a short car ride to Beadnal which has a gorgeous beach which our 9 mnth puppy enjoyed. The cottage kitchen was more equipt than my own kitchen the garden is enclosed by a stone wall with amazing views over it. My only little fault is the fence next to the other cottage is a slat fence our dog isn't very tall and he could stand up on it using his paws it's also open slats so I think had someone of been staying next door and had a dog our dog likes to woof at other dogs to get them to come to him to play. However there is another garden across the little road where you park your car which is lovely. We really enjoyed our week made even more special by amazing weather."

"Victoria cottage was as desribed. However the parking in the street outside is precarious as if vehicles park on both sides of street other vehicles sometimes struggle. A scrape waiting to happen in our opinion. We usually parked elsewhere and walked. Not a big deal really. We were unable to use the dvd on first night. Batteries flat and no spares Box top buttons not useful for rewind etc. Spoke to owner who kindly got her caretaker to drop some off. Two manual tin openers both which we could no matter what work. Bought our own. Lampshade in downstairs toilet so low l grazed my head on it. Again not a big deal, elastoplast did the job. Apart from items mentioned all was well."

"What a fabulous place!Outstanding views from the lounge and bedroom windows, loved to sit with a coffee in the morning and wake-up to the beautiful views of the garden, golf-course and mountains in the distance.I am fussy, but the whole apartment was spotless. Well equipped with quality furniture and fixtures. We'll definitely stay here again!Have a visit to Ingram Valley and the excellent cafe there serving quality food and drinks, lovely obliging owners. Wonderful photographs to be taken of the scenery at any time of the year!I would not usually book an apartment, but would not hesitate again. Simply perfect for us and our teenage daughters needing essential WiFi etc..."
