What our customers are saying about our Easter Cottages In East Hertfordshire District To Rent.

"Had an amazing week at this little cottage! Perfect size for what we needed, close to the main town. The kitchen and equipment is very basic but does have most things needed. The only downside was we had a kettle that had no filter so we spent the week boiling a pan to make tea even though we had notified the owners. Cottage was clean on arrival and although there is no TV in the lounge it wasn’t an issue all week. Would definitely recommend the Coach and Horse pub which is only a small walk down the road! Great service and perfect food! Would be happy to book this little cottage for another week away in the future, next time would make sure we embark on one of the walks along the river."

"With a bus stop a few steps away, getting here is a breeze and the pre- instructions made access easy.We found the facilities in the cottage excellent and with keypad entry to the grounds, good security without being overbearing.A microwave, all cooking and crockery requirements and a good bathroom and sleeping area gave us all that we needed and Trudie The Dog had a ball. This dog friendly cottage is modern, well equipped and well maintained. We would recommend this property to anyone and were very satisfied with our stayKeith, Amanda and Trudie The French Bulldog"

"Clean, good use of space, comfortable and good shower. It was lovely to sit outside on the deck and eat breakfast looking down the long lawn. Parking was easy and Caspar the spaniel liked being walked from the front door off the lead as soon as the road was behind him, particularly along the canal. Reuben and Sarah responded helpfully and promptly to e-mail queries. There is a road behind the cottage, and the railway line runs in the cutting at the bottom of the long garden but I didn't find the noise intrusive."

"The Acorn is a nice place however people should be aware that with windows open it is very noisy with airport and traffic noise. Also it would be enhanced by a tv in the living room. The bedroom one is small and has to be watched while lying down whilst we would have preferred to watch from a chair"

"It was a lovely little cottage. The only drawbacks were the t.v.in the bedroom and no mirror in the bedroom. No cloth to wipe round the kitchen. The worst thing though was probably the parking. No way round that though I do realise."
