What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In East Chevington To Rent.

"Wonderful location with scenic walks in every direction from the cottage’s door, view to the lighthouse, surrounding fields and golf course, and lots of entertainment from the friendly ponies; perfect for dog walking too. The cottage has all that’s needed for a cosy holiday, comfy beds, wet room shower, underfloor heating in the bathroom, log burner in the lounge, night storage heaters in all the rooms, clean and tidy throughout. The kitchen, especially the fridge-freezer, is small for a family, but with supermarkets close by, that’s no real problem. The owners are on hand next door and very welcoming and friendly. Ample parking within an enclosed charming small garden, with two seating areas for those sunny days. Bird watchers should take binoculars, as owls, hawks and others all around. Be warned, the fields can be muddy, so pack some boots and spare towels too. We enjoyed our stay very much and may well return soon."

"The cottage is beautiful But the noise from traffic outside is terrible it is on a main road and very noisy, The real problem is parking. I parked my car round the ally to unpack my car a man who drives a learner driver car came knocking on my window and shouting I'm I a resident in a very aggressive manner. Then followed me to the cottage shouting at me to move my car. I left the car there until my husband came back as I was frightened to move it on my own. At 8.30 the next day I had someone banging on the cottage door and shouting at me to move my car!! I moved it to the open car park at the front. They are doing drain works in Warkworth village limiting car space to half the amount even resident carpark full!! This needs sorting out before someone gets hurt. The residents are really aggressive!!!"

"Access is a bit of an issue, due to narrow road and parking. Not the cottage’s fault however. Hard to park near the cottage. But not an major issue. No control on heating timings - again I fully understand some people may have it running 24/7 - but the boiler is right next to the bedroom, and we didn’t need it coming on so early or staying on so late. There is a thermostat that you can knock down. Warkworth is lovely, the roads are very busy. It’s a good location to see the north east, but don’t think rural idyll. Cottage is highly quality, clean and tidy. Nicely decorated and maintained. Friendly owner."

"Arrived to find had changed name to S59677 but once new name advised and lodge located we were able to locate and settled in quickly. Lodge was Very well equipped and hot tub ready on arrival. Sitting in a hot tub during a snowstorm was awesome. Paths are bit of a mud bath at present due to building work (new lodges getting built near by) sure will be fine once complete. But in the country in april so had suitable footwear anyway. Local village shop/pub only 20 min walk and Redesdale pub short drive was very friendly with lovely food. Lodge was modern and welcome basket a lovely touch."

"We had a fantastic short break at S81178! It’s beautifully decorated and was immaculately clean when we arrived. The welcome pack was much appreciated too. The house is in an amazing location with lovely views from the front and just a stone throw away from a well stocked supermarket. We visited during a snowy period which only served to make the views even more picturesque and the wood burner was lovely in the evenings. We have already booked for a second visit in August, this time bringing the entire family, we’ll know they’ll love it as much as we did!"
