"Basic apartment, one double and two bunk beds. Bunk beds only Suitable for children up to about 12 yrs. I would call this luxury in any definition of the word luxury.Lovely balcony with the hot tub, but as the apartment is dog friendly a gate would be useful, especially as there were dogs in most of the 20 apartments.Laminate flooring throughout and the decoration was all magnolia, but not done to a very high standard.Kitchen equipment and crockery was limited and basic, so much so that we did not use the dishwasher it would never be full.Furniture was a sofa, a chair, table and four chairs and a coffee table in lounge dinerDouble bed, wardrobe and two bedside cabinets in master bedroom with bedside lights. Two bunks and a chest of drawers in second bedroom but no lamp. Master bedroom lacked a dressing table. There were no blinds in the bathroom. The bedrooms had blinds but no curtains. The balcony was nice but the one above was also made from decking so rain dripped through and so did water when occcupants above used hot tub. Luckily their dog did not wee on their balcony.Stan the Caretaker was very helpful and came round each morning to attend to the hot tub.BT Broadband was very good and tv worked fine, as did the DVD playerA car is a must as it is a long walk down to Pendine and facilities are geared towards the caravan park and holiday makers."

"The cottage has fantastic views and was very clean and tidy but I wouldn't rate it as 4* accommodation. The double bed was so hard that it was like trying to sleep on the floor, we ended up sleeping in the single beds which were ok but if there had been more of us this wouldnt of been an option. The shower was very poor and after a day spent walking its the one piece of equipment that needs to be at least half decent. We read several reviews of this cottage before booking and noted that people often commented about the poor condition of the "unadopted road", although we didn't let this put us off what the write ups fail to mentsion is that its 1/2 mile long! The middle section of the drive is still in poor repair, we were in a 4x4 and it rocked like a ship at sea when traversing these pot holes, you will need a vehicle with good ground clearance.Overall it is a nice place to stay but spoilt by the poor access road and some of the fixtures and fittings as mentioned above."

"This has the potential to be wonderful holiday accommodation, but has been let down by too many faults. The location is good and we were happy with the peace and quiet. However, the outside area was in need of some care and clearly dog owners need to clear up after their dogs. The kitchen area smelt of off-milk on arrival, and we were unable to remove the smell. The house was grubby and fixtures needed replacing and updating. Our biggest concern was that the house was not clean. There were dog hairs everywhere and we took 2 hours to give the house a good clean. We accept that this is dog-friendly accommodation, but that should not be an excuse for a lack of hygiene and cleanliness. There was also mold/mildew up the back wall of the bedroom that my son stayed in. I tried calling the contact number twice, but got no answer. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the internet connection excellent."

"This was our second visit & our last.We paid £700 yet decided to leave early losing money !!Welcome pack consisted of one stale cake, 1 pint of milk. They left one toilet roll ..First thing we had to do is go shopping for toilet rolls, fairy liquid .. fly spray !!!We expected flies being on a working farm but they moved two donkeys from the pack into a field so close to the cottage that the braying of the donkeys woke us at first light and the flies from the manure was huttendous !! No exaggeration!!Also they allowed a large vehicle towing a caravan with two large dogs aboard to camp right under our main bedroom window ..could hear every sound from them..Also they need to sack their cleaner ..the only good things were the cobwebs that caught the flies ..Windows & corners filled with cobwebs !!So NO ... we will not be returning and lost £100 just to come home early !!!"

"After reading previous reviews I was getting a little anxious HOWEVER I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with our choice. Situated on a narrow country road outside St. Florence but within easy driving to Tenby and all the wonderful beaches on that part of the Pembrokeshire coast a car was a necessity but parking in the lay by opposite was no problem at all. The cottage although a bit dated was clean and tidy and was comfortably spacious enough for the 7 of us. The garden whilst shared was large enough for the 3 grandchildren to run around and play games and there was a place for BBQ's. The owners who lived next door were very pleasant and helpful even taking our washing in whilst we were out and it was raining and the 2 bottles of wine on the table on arrival were unexpected. We had a great week at S71565 and would stay again."
