What our customers are saying about our Dog Friendly Cottages In Beauly To Rent.
- Mrs Townsend, June 2018 - verified booking
"I visited with my husband, 3 children(17, 10 and 8) and my parents and had a really good holiday at S9272. The weather was brilliant so we made full use of the large garden and surrounding area. The house itself was well equipt and spacious and although there were 7 of us, it did not feel cramped in the slightest. There was no wifi but this was not necessarily a bad thing as it got the children out playing together and we were well aware of this fact when we booked the cottage. The location was beautiful although quite far away from local shops/amenities and it did mean quite a bit of travelling for day trips. The location on the Sykes map against the location on google maps was slightly out which caused a bit of confusion when initially finding the cottage and we ended up stopping at Eagle Brae to ask for directions as this is where the map took us to. Once we found the cottage, we were very pleased and had an amazing week."

"Had an amazing week at S79604. The lodge itself well laid out with everything you would need. Comprised of living area with comfy sofas, dining room table and chairs, kitchen with everything you need - plenty coffee, tea, cleaning products, appliances really easy to use. Loads of cutlery, plates etc. A nice welcome basket of goodies. Both bedrooms were ensuite and supplied with towels of all sizes and bathrobes and plenty of hot fast water.Tv in livingroom freesat and worked fine. Plenty of leaflets of nearby trips and tourist attractions. Hot tub on the decking really lovely. The location of the lodge brilliant and the owner Willie - a really nice man and always on hand if you needed anything - and his Dog always visited and really friendly and a visit to see his chickens and ducks and a nice few freshly laid eggs.Would recommend 101% and would definately be back again."

"Excellent central location for our hill walking activities. Garden not really pet proof as dog could get out onto road where traffic passed very quickly indeed. Serious height constraint in upstairs bedrooms - no one over 5ft 8in tall could stand upright. This needs to be made clear in the description of the cottage. Sun lounge lovely - best part of the cottage; we lived in there all the time and, unusually for Scotland, there was lots of sunshine. Very limited number of cups, bowls etc - we were always washing up to re-use crockery. Our non hill-walker was a bit disappointed by lack of local activities and interests; although Beauly close with good shops, pub etc. Owner visited a couple of times and was very pleasant."

"The cottage was in a beautiful surrounding, lovely modern cottage, but I don't know why they have furnished the bedroom with what I would call 'utility furniture' . At least that's what it looked like to me, the stuff issued during world war 2. Whether this had been passed down through the family or bought from a house clearance sale, I don't know. The bed was creaky and the chest of drawers, which you could hardly open, were old and smelly. This spoiled the whole cottage, the owners would be better going to Ikea, if they are trying to save money, rather than use that awful old stuff. Sorry, that spoiled the whole cottage."

"Fantastic, spent Christmas with family at S79604 and it was lovely. Lodge was decorated lovely, tree was really nice made our Christmas together special. Pictures of lodge on web site does not do it justice as it was more luxurious. Good quality fixtures and fittings throughout the lodge. Willie the owner is lovely and our daily visit from daisy the dog was nice. Would highly recommend S79604 to anyone who likes a quiet retreat lots of lovely forest walks but if you want something more strenuous traveling by car is a must with lovely views all around."
