The stretch of coast surrounding Dinas Cross is so amazing it has been designated as the UK’s only coastal National Park. This is a wonderful place to take in the striking natural beauty, enjoy coastal walking, or maybe even a dip in the sea. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a popular way to explore the area, but there are plenty of other routes to enjoy too.

What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Dinas Cross To Rent.
Mac Gillavry Family from Nootdorp, The Netherlands - verified booking
"What a wonderful house! And what a super location! We enjoyed the nearby beaches and the peninsula Dinas Head. Kiel’s shop (Mace) has everything you need and Newport has even more. We enjoyed the surrounding – made a wonderful walk from Mynydd Melyn to Mynydd Carningli and the overwhelming panorama. In Newport we can really recommend the Canteen – we couldn’t believe the excellent reviews but it is all time! The young staff even learned us the basic Welsh!<br /> <br /> In New Quay we saw quite some dolphins. The heavy sea state was not pleasant for all of us, though. But dolphins – big smile…a hidden jem is the Cwm Gwaun (afon Gwaun) valley – what a surprise! Also interesting to visit is the church at Nevern (wonderful), don’t forget to look at the gardens of the neighbours … the children of course loved the sea & beach and Wi-Fi. Rating: 5/5!"

"We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cottage. The cava and welsh cakes provided on arrival was a lovely touch, and our golden retriever Finlay loved the dog treats too! The location is beautiful and we’ve been some fantastic walks nearby; Pwllgwaelod Beach round one corner was a lovely (albeit very windy) walk, as was Newport Sands and Poppit Sands – Finlay had an amazing time running through the sand dunes! Our boxing Day meal, kindly booked by Gill, was delicious; the Golden Lion is a truly lovely pub, with great food, lovely staff and a welcoming atmosphere – we went back several times! Would definitely recommend it. Overall, thank you very much for providing us with such a comfortable stay over Christmas! "

"<strong>Location is super. Just a short walk to the two beaches. </strong>Great garden, there is always somewhere where you can sit in the sun out of the wind. Property is well equipped end clean. Quiet and pleasant neighborhood.<br /> Tips: Walk coastal path towards Fishguard and take the bus back or take the bus to Newport and walk the coastal path back to the property... beautiful walks and the bus stop is close by (Kiel House). The walk between the two beaches is lovely as well. Dinas Cross has a convient store with a wide range of products, Mace, Kiel House. Cafe on the Quay in Lower Fishguard - good food, good atmosphere"

"From that point of view we were very pleasantly surprised, finding it cosy and comfortable. As we were out for most of the day it was especially good to get back in the late afternoon and sit out on the private patio which was a real sun trap. The owners, Ann and David were exceptionally welcoming and anxious to be sure we had everything we needed. As they have recently taken over this property they wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay and we are certain would have responded had we had any problems....but we didn't. If we decide to return to the same area in the future, we would be happy to stay there again."

"Have had a wonderful week at this well equipped cottage which is perfectly situated for walking the North Pembrokeshire coast path. It also has easy access to the Poppit Rocket bus service which is great for getting to the start of walks or to help with the return jouney. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The property is quietly situated and the private garden was lovely to return to after a day of walking. Having twin beds it is ideal for couples or friends who want somewhere comforatble and cosy to stay. I would love to return to this cottage to do some more walking in the area."
