"This is an exceptional cottage with real character, the owners clearly have great taste and this is not your standard sterile holiday cottage. A real find for us dog owners who often miss out on the really classy ones! The super king sized bed is amazingly comfortable and massive with great views from the floor to ceiling windows, a treat in itself. The owners live next door but dont fear they will interfere, they are friendly, welcoming and helpful if needed but totally unobtrusive. There is a great pub just down the lane, very welcoming folk infact you are welcomed like a friend, no hostile stares here! Loggerheads country park is 1.5 miles away and lovely strolls in the woodlands and limestone cliffs. Things that may be good to know : Its in secluded location up private lane/track, can be narrow for a larger vehicle & steep-ish in places. The garden is not enclosed. The area is very hilly (stating the obvious here!) meaning all walks from the cottage are steep and you get a lot of weather! Its quite a drive to the coastal areas. Cottage well equipped and great wifi, only thing I didnt find was a hairdryer but I didnt miss it.We had a lovely stay in special cottage."

"Condition of this property was appalling, upstairs banister was separated from newel post, exceedingly dangerous. Upstairs toilet seat fell off. Half the bulbs all over cottage did not work. No light working in downstairs toilet, but one bulb had been broken leaving half the bulb sticking out, so if anyone touches this you will get a dreadful electric shock. On arrival refuse bins overflowing and bags of rubbish piled up. White settees badly stained and torn. Coverings on chair seats worn off. Upper cupboard in kitchen fell off and hit me on the head. Kettle lid would not shut, found second one but you had to hold the on switch for it to work. Dish washer had not worked for over a year. Oven filthy. No vacuum so had to borrow neighbours. Could not open patio doors, no key, could not open front door, no key. Worst stay l have had anywhere. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The scenery is breathtaking and soul restoring. The cottage was very clean, warm and welcoming. Owner friendly and on hand but not intrusive. The location is quite remote, however that was a bonus for us as a complete get away and restful break. The hot tub was lovely and used frequently come rain or shine. Now we are home I really miss jumping into the restorative bubbles and have been online to research the possibility of having my own installed! My only tiny recommendations would be:- to add some hooks to the bedroom doors for dressing gowns etc- provide a hat/coat stand in the hallway for somewhere to hang outdoor clothing- maybe an additional soft comfortable chair in the lounge as if you were a party of eight you may find the seating lacking in the cosy lounge.Overall a great place to stay, would definitely return."

"A very tired looking accommodation, initially seemed very sweet and homely. However when you looked a bit deeper broken light shades, light bulbs out in most of the rooms, insulation tape holding shower head up ,dirty bath, Curtains in the main bedroom didn't close had to use pegs, the plugs socket in bedrooms poorly placed, the fridge didn't keep cool and the freezer had broken drawers and over frosted. For 8 people another toilet would have been useful there is room for an on -suit off the main bedroom. We didn't think it was value for money it was all shabby and dated.Saying that our dogs loved being safe in the fenced in area and if the owners repaired and replaced items that are damaged we would go back. "Everything about this cottage is highly recommended. Put simply, it's delight - warm and comfortable and incredibly well- equipped. The owners have gone out of their way to provide everything that's needed for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday, and the icing on the cake is a generous and thoughtful welcome pack. The location of the cottage makes for lovely views from the front and lots of local wildlife to observe. Birds and squirrels compete for food thoughtfully provided by the owners. If you are looking for a holiday cottage in a lovely part of Wales, with interesting walks from the door, and all the comforts of home when you return at the end of the day, then S59848 is the place for you. We shall certainly be booking again."
