"We'd thoroughly reccomend S20867 to anyone travelling with a toddler. The cottage is so well set up and equipped (better than home!) - we just wished we hadn't packed all the things 'just in case'. Lovely room on the first floor ideal for those still in a cot, which is provided... As is all kitchen equipment, even a bottle steriliser! Cupboards are all complete with safety locks and there's even toys and DVDs! Lovely double room for adults and kitchen and lounge area means that there's plenty of space. The only slight issue was finding the cottage as we travelled late at night- it's difficult to find on sat nav so I'd recommend speaking to the owner before travelling. Location is perfect if you're using it as a base to explore Cornwall, we went somewhere different every day but there's not that much locally - nearest location is probably 20 (drive) mins away. For those traveling with small children, we ordered a Tesco delivery to arrive the morning after we arrived which was a very good move! Although there is one not so far away if you need to shop whilst you're there. Owners were helpful and friendly - we'd definitely recommend staying with them."

"Beautiful barn conversion set in a lovely location - really great for exploring Devon and Cornwall, especially Dartmoor. The property itself is great, the bedroom is particularly gorgeous with amazing high ceilings and beams. Very cute sheep right outside the front door was also a pleasant addition! Our only (and literally the only) issue was with the quality of the cooking equipment. Seeing as it's a self catering barn, we expected to be able to cook for ourselves in the evenings, but the pans were all unusable without huge quantities of oil. A shame, as the barn would have been absolutely perfect if the cooking equipment was slightly upgraded so that we could actually use it. The wifi also is very intermittent and didn't work at all during our stay - which wasn't really an issue for us because we were out so much. However, if you'd needed to access work emails whilst away, I wouldn't recommend the reliability of the service here. All in all we had a lovely time and would definitely come back again. Thanks for a great week!"

"S20867 is in beautiful surroundings and made for a lovely family holiday. The owners are lovely and they provide everything you need, a true home away from home. Ideal for a small family, the cottage has every bit or crockery and cooking utensil you need. The small touches of plastic plates for children to the tea and coffee was wonderful. If you have a small a baby there is even a microwave steriliser - saves you packing one. We were lucky to be there during this week's heatwave, the cottage does get hot but we asked for a fan which was provided. You are no more than 40 minutes from Looe and Newquay, we ventured out to Padstow and Eden Project. There is so much to do in Cornwall, the owners have provided guides and leaflets including discount vouchers so look though those to plan your holiday.Beautiful location and we would happily stay again!"

"The S25383 was very modern and well equipped, massive great bed that was very comfortable. The location was great and the perfect base to visit Padstow, Tintagel , Port Issac, Bodmin Moor and lots of other tourist places.Although the furniture was comfortable a bigger sofa would have been nice, we like to lounge in the evenings ! The biggest disappointment for us was the lack of working WiFi, when I booked our break I only included property's which had WiFi, I like to be contactable and know that some places have sketchy mobile reception, so thought as this said it had WiFi then at least I had way of communicating. The issue we were told is with BT and it would work on and off, we were there Mon - Fri and we never had any connection at all, and my mobile network provider (EE) didn't work!"

"The property is situated in a great position with superb views to the countryside and sea. It is just a short drive to the town and supermarket, but a small local shop nearby for emergency essentials. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. The whole place was clean and tidy, which for me are always the main points. The main downside is that while parking is available, it can be a bit tricky, especially if you a large family car. There is some parking on the way in for larger vehicles or the less confident parker, which is useful. The country lane is pitch black at night with a very sharp corner, which is a bit daunting at first. One word of waring is that the stairs up to the bathroom and bedrooms are quite steep. Sept 2009.
