"My biggest disappointment is that this complex of about 14 or more barn extensions which have been newly built, have not been made accessible for disabled people. This made me quite sad in this day and age, it would not have cost anything for the access to have been ramped rather than building one step up into the accommodations as they have. Their response was it is not advertised as disabled friendly, which is quite hurtful to be alienated like this. Once you are in the building it would have been totally accessible then. Also outside there was no drop kerb to get from the accommodations to some of the facilities such as the laundry or the shared garden areas, which could have been easily done, especially at the step of the laundry which has now caused a water logged area directly into the laundry. A drop kerb could have meant that we could access the accommodation through the bedroom at least. Shame no consideration was given in the build for disabled people and young families. There were at least two of us wheelchair users in the complex at the time also families there with prams, who would have found the access valuable. The barn style accommodations were nice, fitted out with Ikea and rooms clean and spacious. Just the towels could have been cleaner. The grounds are being developed around the farm, there are peacocks that were very beautiful, but not so lovely when they are calling throughout the night and your getting little sleep. So if you are ill or need sleep something to consider. Was difficult to find the complex as no sign posts and had to knock on several doors etc. We were not sent an access code etc as gated entrance so stuck outside for a long time. Would stay there again. Nice play area for children on site. Dog charge expensive especially when you have two to pay for and they don't cause very much cleaning. It also states dogs free of charge but this is not the case once you book. The farm is elephant grass farming so not suitable to take your dogs in those fields, quite muddy. There is a normal field adjacent to the buildings."

"The Garden Cottage is wonderful and we'll certainly look to return if staying in that area again. A lovely modern two floor detached building behind the main (owner's) property, there is ample secure parking in a graveled parking area (lit on a sensor in the evenings) accessed via the private driveway running past the main house - you can park within a few feet of the front door. Key-safe is on the wall next to the front door containing the two sets of door keys. Nice peaceful lawn/garden and patio area at the rear of the building. Owners provided useful information in advance via phone/email and in person were warmly welcoming and available for assistance throughout the stay (though no help was actually needed) but kept to themselves and did not impose.Bedroom (comfy bed) and bathroom are downstairs with kitchen / lounge / breakfast bar upstairs, which is unusual, but works well. Immaculately clean, tastefully laid out, fitted, furnished and decorated. Useful and easy to follow folder of information on using the heating and cooking equipment and local amenities. Particularly loved the additional touches of providing a loaf of bread with butter-spread and chilled bottle of Prosecco (the latter of which was very welcome after long drive). Also utilized the DVDs and board games in the evenings. The only elements it lacked (which can't be helped and were not of concern to us anyway) were that it was not in scenic surroundings - so no stunning views - and the building itself is plain and functional. In all important aspects, however, 10/10."

"This was an delightful weekend from beginning to end. After spotting this gorgeous cottage on the Internet, I called the booking agency to make enquiries. The agent was absolutely superb and we couldn’t have asked for better booking service. We then received all of the information we required about the cottage including directions and contact details via email. We arrived at the cottage to a very warm welcome by the owner Will. When we entered the cottage it had a wonderful relaxed, soft and comfortable feel to it and had everything we needed. Lovely views of the sheep grazing and beautiful walk down to the charming little pond. We barbecued in the evenings and made our way down to the quaint little pub in the village for lunch which had great food. We will definitely be returning to Ashbrook Cottage on a yearly basis and cannot thank Will, his wife and family for a truly wonderful and memorable weekend in the country.Allan, Javier and friends."

"Dartmouth House is great for a medium/large get together, particularly for those that appreciate a lot of character in a house. Last weekend I stayed with family and friends for our annual Halloween get-away, and we had a wonderful time. All the wonky floors & creaky doors really added some spooky atmosphere. The kids loved playing hide & seek, and the 'adults' enjoyed a spot of frisbee in the huge garden & board games in the dining room. The owners had even left some Halloween goodies (for the kids?) and there were some great spooky decorations on the veranda! On previous stays (this was my fourth time staying at Dartmouth House) the owners have left wine and chocolates! A really nice touch! As well as all this, Olney is a lovely quaint town, with plenty of decent shops for anything you might need during your stay!I can't wait to come back!"

"We had a lovely long weekend at Dartmouth House, which is a great place for a group of friends (including some with children) to get together and catch-up. It's on a road, but it's hardly a main road like one reviewer has claimed. We hardly noticed it and it certainly didn't disturb us. Parking was easy, and we actually found it a pleasant change to stay in a property within easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants, shops and coffee shops. It meant everyone could come and go as they pleased, whether they drive or not (and the drivers could have a well-earned pint or two!)The house was welcoming, well-equipped and very comfortable, and the garden was glorious. Thank you for an excellent holiday. We'd all recommend Dartmouth House to others."
