The town itself has maintained much of its historical character from when it was once an important marketplace. Today you will find some stunning historic buildings including the Corn Exchange and Preston Lodge. The Hall of Tarvit can also be found just outside of Cupar and is an impressive estate worth visiting. For more of an outdoorsy day out, the Scottish Deer Centre is only a short drive away. It covers 55 acres and you will be able to see 12 species of deer. It’s a great place for all the family.

"my wife had to clean dried excrement from the bathroom floor before we used. the door did not lock properly and when we went out we was always worrying about the security. when i got home i could not find my wedding ring and asumed i lost it at home but the owner phoned and said the ring was found at the cottage my wife offered to pay for the return of it that was three weeks ago and still waiting. i am glad to say i booked our next holiday without third party involvement i would not used Sykes again."

Mrs Norma Parker, Portree, Highland - verified booking
"This was a property that ticked all the boxes. It was well appointed and comfortable, and in a quiet location with plenty of places to walk the dog. Ideally located for exploring the Kingdom of Fife and beyond. Close to the beautiful Falkland village with its castle and well kept old village properties. There were loads of places to eat and farm shops selling a vast array of local produce."
Mr Le Play - verified booking
"The cottage was excellent- very comfortable. The location was superb for walking the dogs but also within a short distance by car from the big cities/towns- Edinburgh, Perth, Sterling, St Andrews etc.Weather not brilliant but it didn't stop us from getting out. A very enjoyable holiday all round."
Mrs Joanne Milburn, Alfreton, - verified booking
"A beautiful, comfortable cottage that felt very much like home in a fantastic area. The views are amazing and we spent many hours sitting outside admiring them. Lovely walk into Falkland which has good café's and shops. We will definitely return for another holiday."
