What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Cranleigh To Rent.
Tristram - verified booking
"Our purpose in choosing this cottage was two-fold: visiting a textile art exhibition in West Hampshire and visiting family in West Sussex. The location also gave us the opportunity to be in a rural area remote from busy traffic with simple walks along quiet lanes for daily exercise. S49591 was perfect, although the weather wasn't, but in January what can one expect? We thoroughly enjoyed the standard of accommodation it offered and loved relaxing here, doing nothing much, alternating with strenuous days of driving around two adjacent counties. We can't really comment on local amenities because they weren't a priority on this visit. But be in no doubt about the location; once the car could be left parked for the day it's a stunningly beautiful part of the country to either enjoy on foot or through a cottage window in a comfortable armchair!"

"Our booking was for a gathering of our family now distributed around the UK, and it filled that role perfectly. The house is in a lovely rural location but with good access to local shops in Ripley. We stayed in great splendour and comfort, and there really was something for everyone of all ages. My personal favourites were the lovely warm pool and the piano, books and paintings! We also loved watching the morning wildlife out on the lawn from the kitchen window, and exploring the rest of the large garden and local footpaths. Whether it is relaxation or more active passtimes you are seeking then this property fills the bill. Thank you for a great week!"

"Great little cottage. Great little village, with shops including a Waitrose. A few good pubs. The moon appears to be the friendliest with the better menu. Parking is an issue. No parking immediately near the property. There is a street near the cottage where parking maybe available.Traffic noise is an issue. The cottage is virtually on a small round about, so cars/ vans/ lorries pass all day. But, if using the cottage as a base for visiting the coast and South Downs, this shouldn’t be a big problem. Overall the cottage is clean, quaint and has all that is needed for a short break."

"The Bull Pen is an extremely spacious and well equipped cottage. We didn't need the disabled facilities, but these are excellent for anyone who does. This is an excellent cottage for anyone looking for a break in the country. The village shop (yards from the cottage) is well supplied for all the essentials and has a lovely teashop in it as well. Supermarkets and towns are further away. We had a reception committee of a green woodpecker and saw a deer when walking in the woods at the back of the cottage as well as buzzards."

"There's lots nice about this cottage. Warm, comfortable beds, good location, good tv/internet. But the traffic noise was a real problem. Not so much at night, the bedroom has secondary glazing and anyway it stops overnight. But downstairs in the day felt like nowhere to get away from it. Not enough crockery/cutlery and we had to fight a bit with the cistern. You have to park overnight well away and it would be very difficult to even unload at the door. So nice cottage if you're prepared for these things. Local area is great."
