"We have a great vacation spent in the White Lion Apartment in Cranbrook, less than an hour's drive from the Channel Tunnel. The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated, well maintained and had an extensive inventory in the kitchen. The location is right in the picturesque center, with all amenities close at hand including supermarkets, library, tourist information office, restaurants, café 's and lots of very nice special shops. Would recommend a visit to the mill in Cranbrook, that your whole can be visited with a tour very nice locals. The children can create their own meal times. The Mumtaz Mahal Indian Restaurant is highly recommended, as is the restaurant of Hotel George, both in the same street as the White Lion Apartment. London is very easily accessible by train (one hour in the heart of town!) from Staplehurst, the neighboring village. Also recommended are nearby Sissinghurst Castle with beautiful gardens, the steam train from Tenterden to Bodiam Castle and the children the Hop Farm Country Park in Paddock Wood, Tonbridge. We are very excited and want to go back!"

"Nice and clean house, spacious enough for 4 people. Reception with eggs, bread, butter and jam. Friendly people. Large garden with plenty of sun and shade. No chairs, only a wooden picnic table, so bring your own garden chairs is recommended. Living room with 2 (somewhat cramped) couches which otherwise sit, kitchen with dining table and plenty of utensils and crockery, dishwasher, fridge, oven. Wifi works fine, with plenty of TV (English) channels, DVD player did not work properly (but not missed by the fine weather). I personally found some beds hard and the springs were palpable. However, my family did not bother. Even at elevated temperatures remained within pleasant. Bathroom with shower and toilet. In addition, a separate toilet. Parking with shade beside the huis.Huisje is next orchard, where regular bunnies running around. Cottage is so "n 50 meters from the A229, a busy road, but traffic sounds were in the garden not hinderlijk.Wat us is a must!"

"The cottage met, but did have a few hiccups. Very unfortunate that only a picnic table and without any other garden furniture. The beds are very hard and there are two 2-person sofa "s in the living room where you pretty sink into the water has the same temperature no further than lukewarm and has little pressure. Further fine though, it looks cozy and the rest is almost everything is available. station Staplehurst is less than fifteen minutes and then pick up as the train to London where you are than an hour. The area is beautiful and there is much to visit (including Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst Castle, Canterbury etc). In Sissinghurst itself is incidentally a good Indian take-away. That there is wifi, is perfect, especially since you have no mobile phone coverage in the house itself. way you do in other ways you keep in touch with home."

"We, 2 adults & 2 kids were for 1 week in Cranbrook. We have felt very comfortable in the house & Umgebung.Sehr great starting point for many cultural and family-friendly trips. London can be reached by train from Staplehurst about 10 km away in well-1h. Without a car it would be for the excursions may be somewhat difficult, but we have not been informed about bus us! Unfortunately, it was in England very, very cold and we were initially in the upper room will not heat properly because the radiators were very small. After we called the nice Housekeeperin, they came over and helped us with the heater, so we had it at the end of the week really warm. We would book again in the summer, but no longer at 1.5-2 C.Als we arrived there was even spring flowers on the table, which we found really nice. We had a great time and very happy holidays!"

"We had a very nice holiday in the White Lion Apartment, partly due to the location in the cozy Cranbrook. Well appointed, larger than expected, kitchen with all amenities. Private parking behind the building. A small roof terrace, where you can use. Cranbrook are nice shops and two supermarkets, several restaurants. You can see from the window the coziness of English life. We are to Swanley driven the car and got the train to London, £ 6 parking fee paid for the car (24 hours). Train Ticket p / p 6 pounds. R nIn a 1 / 2 hours at Victoria Station. Beautiful setting, charming towns. WIFI free. We come back here!"
