"For this accommodation, 3 days in advance had to be called with the owner to indicate what time you would arrive. We had overlooked this, and because we expected to arrive earlier on Saturday, we did not call the owner until Saturday. The owner was unreachable! Also we could not find the house because there was no address only GPS coordinates. Fortunately, just before we entered the village, we got contact. The owner was still busy at the house, so we could go inside. The accommodation is very nice and spacious, with a large terrace and beautiful views. "beautiful starry night and the roar of wild boar in the nearby forests. We unfortunately discovered a hornet nest directly in the ridge of the house, and wasps nests under the eaves." The owner knew about it, but he does not take anything away unless you are bothered by it. The horns were not aggressive, but sailed regularly, but unpleasant. The wasps became very annoying during the week. There were no screens in front of the windows, a big gem.Me tip to the owner is to provide all windows with screens and to remove the nests, which greatly enhances the enjoyment of the living space.Furthermore, the layout of the kitchen (pans, potholders) could be more extensive, but it was in itself all very well in order. we also found a minus was that extra electricity and water had to be paid (according to consumption) Can not that just be calculated in the total price of the house? It is very unsympathetic to take that extra into account e! The environment of the house is very beautiful. Especially the Lac de Chamboux is a must. Not as massive as the Lac de Settons, much closer to the house, and quiet. Dogs welcome."

"The Chateau in Beaune is a perfect place for a large group to be accommodated. Our group consisting 18 people, had relaxing bedrooms situated in the 19th century chateau or the 18th century cottage. The lounge room and adjoining library have been decorated in the period style and have comfortable seating to provide quiet time to read and or reflect on the opulence of the chateau's previous owners. Our host had extended the dining table so it was sufficient to seat everyone in the large dining room and enjoy meals together, discuss the days journeys and prepare activities for the next. The cooking facilities are large enough for everyone to be involved in meal preparation in the family kitchen or in the adjoining professional kitchen. Relaxing on the terrace or near the pool and sampling the locally purchased charcuterie, cheese and wine is a must after enjoying the day's activities. The local towns of Beaune, Meursault or Dijon provide ample opportunity to purchase supplies from produce markets or supermarkets. Vehicles are required to explore the area and ample parking is available in the extensive grounds of the chateau. An enjoyable and memorable time was had by all. Ian & Margery"

"This was our second visit to this house. Last year a week and that was so much that we went two weeks this year. The house is nice, big, with all modern conveniences. Good bathroom, two bathrooms! large kitchen with everything you need. Bottle of wine was ready again. Sweet and nice Dutch owners who will do anything to get to the meaning making.'s Up Many tips as what to do in the area. And there is much to do and see there. Beautiful scenery, lovely French villages, beautiful places such as Autun and Dijon. Beautiful historical places like Vezelay, Avallon and abbye de Fontenay. Lovely lakes (20 Minunten by car) also nearby to relax, swimming, fishing or boating. Delicious restaurants within 10 minutes by car Saulieu where you can drink on a terrace coffee. A baker 5 minutes by car Liernais. Beaune is also a wonderful place to eat in the middle of the beautiful wine region! The house has a huge garden, which is lined with conifers and shrubs, privacy guaranteed! A lovely wooden deck offers plenty of space to linger, a bbq, loungese, deck chairs and garden table and chairs makes you sit around in the shade or in the sun. Peace and nature, great! The fireplace in the living room is the ke"

"Very nice, well maintained, clean property in a wonderful nature. Nice and quiet, gegelegentliche cars are not heard in the house further. Prima to sleep thus. Super is that you can darken the skylight in the master bedroom also (then heated rooms not so on in the sun). The view of the small lake on the property, we sorely missed as the birds chirping in the periphery (here at home is not so abundant as to densely populated unfortunately). A friendly, German-Vermieter.Gut to know: - Take linens for the bed quilt size approx 140/160 width! At 90 bedspreads you need to take the ceiling twice, which is fine in cold seasons, but otherwise too warm -. Toaster did not exist at present, but then you take just the oven to bake them from Brötchen/Brot- TV only French-CD player (does not) exist with radio and MP3 capability. Otherwise advisable to take enough games and books - Never think that the trash can, which is possibly the front on the street corner (which is mostly in France then serves for all in the neighborhood as a trash can) to the house heard! It belongs exclusively to the neighbors! And the neighbors behave as extremely rude and throw you di"

"We had a great week (12 to 19 May 2007) in this comfortable home. On arrival the house was perfectly clean. Unfortunately, we did not have such nice weather (lots of rain and some days only 12-13 degrees), so we did what few can sit on the porch. With the beautiful view The advantage was that we spent a few. Wonderful evenings by a crackling fire in the wood stove beautiful The house was immaculately clean and equipped with all modern conveniences for a wonderful week. Our kids (4, 6 and 8 years old) enjoyed themselves on the beautiful grounds, where they had nice space for their discoveries on the grass and around the pond. The surroundings are beautiful. The house is quite remote, but very quiet. "At night, the earth here is really dark and so quiet that you only frogs and crickets hoort.Wat our opinion, this house is definitely a must! We stayed with our family with three children and grandparents. Also for 2 families this home great fit."
