"Blossom Brae was exactly as shown on the internet: a warm comfortable spacious modern building. Well equipped: the only thing we missed was a milk jug! The views out from the house were stunning from all the front rooms and we could watch the hills and Cuillins in different conditions each day. Local lanes were quiet for walking and running. We liked the way the house was surrounded by wild flowers and blended in with the landscape. The house is nicely located in a small settlement with lovely local sites and scenery nearby. It was also a good base for trips to Portree, Trotternich and even Elgol. Given the level of comfort and space it provided, it was good value for money. We were lucky to have sunny weather and little rain during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our tie at Blosso Brae."

"Stayed here 2 years ago and loved it, this time a little disappointed. Although warm and cosy with lovely kitchen and en-suite, a few niggles let it down. As mentioned by others in the visitor book, the memory foam mattress was not the best (we found it saggy and uncomfortable), blinds were needed in the kitchen and the tin opener was almost useless. We would also add the toaster had missing control buttons, the en-suite shaver light had no pull cord and the Sky box that was there previously, had been removed so we could find no way of getting a TV guide for the week. Unlikely we would return as we feel that 2 fortnight holidays has pretty much covered what we want to see in the north of Skye and we would prefer somewhere with WiFi next time."

"We have stayed in many rented properties both in the UK and overseas but none have exceeded S13212. Completely living up to the descriptions the cottage is beautifully fitted out and the welcome pack left by the owners was a pleasant bonus. All the rooms are first class, but we spent most of our time in the conservatory looking over the loch and watching a heron fishing at the bottom of our garden! Magical. The area is great too, with easy access to the local Co-Op for provisions and, of course, the island is small enough to investigateby car. All in all a wonderful holiday in a great rental. Completely recommended. PS - WiFi is so sloooooow. Made me appreciate living in the big city."

"Great open views across the sea loch to the Cuillins, made waking here and returning at the end of the day a treat. It's a bungalow, so not that much character from outside but it's comfortably furnished and warm - even when we had a stormy few hours with hail, snow and strong winds. The beds were comfortable and both bathrooms nicely kitted out. It has a nice feel to it and is a lot more spacious than we thought from the online photos. Some walks can be done from the door and being only a few miles from Dunvegan it is quite central for exploring the north half of the island. Overall a good standard of accommodation and suited our family needs well."

"A beautiful, well-appointed cottage in North-West Skye; plenty of space for a couple with dog, (or for child with cot to share bedroom or else sleep in living room). Very warm, and the coal fire was easily maintained, with a good supply of fuel for the first night. Lovely views of the local bay and the distant Cuillins (weather permitting), and literally a few steps from a great view of Macleod's Tables at the back. Contacted owners to arrange day-late arrival, but this was no problem and the arrival and departure process was very straightforward. Been to Skye many times, and this would probably be our best ever holiday let."
